For my Father

This past Friday May 20th my father passed away at still a young age of 65. It was unexpected, he was a healthy man. Just want to say don’t take everyday for granted and cherish each day you have with your loved ones. In his honor and to celebrate his life I chose the Cohiba Piramides Extra TUA OCT 20. This is smoking so beautifully, perfect smoke for a special moment.

I am a week away from the 3yr mark of my father passing away relatively young like yours so this post really hits home. It was like the fabric of the entire universe had been torn, so feel for you. Hope you continue to do these small celebrations frequently over this next year and keep strong. Buy a box of whatever to dedicate the time to remember like this—you’re doing it right.

Both of my parents lived well into their 80’s, but whenever they pass I think you always feel like a 12 year old kid... 😔

Sadly, I feel your pain.   Six years ago, my father also died suddenly and unexpectedly at age of 65.  My mother died a year later.  God those were hard times.  
 

I’m sure you already know this, but they never really leave you.  Still think of them every single day.

My father is in his early 80’s and I call him every time I smoke a cigar.  My father in law passed at the same age 5 years ago. 
I think about him a lot, we got along great and he absolutely loved his grandchildren.  When I do shed a tear, it isn’t for what I loss, but for the memories my kids won’t be able to have with him.

 I see him every day… my son… who is 5, has many of his mannerisms and never met the guy.

I wish you many fond memories of your father and hope you can share some stories when the time is right

Sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain you feel right now. My father is a massive influence on my life, even at my age of 50, that can't be replaced.
