"......so I am in a quandry as i have no idea what to recommend. It is a valentine miracle that she wants to smoke a cigar with me and maybe make it something that we occassionally do together. However like Eminen last night, I know I have "One Shot"!  She has smoked a little weed in the past but I am clueless as to whether I do NC or CC, what size, real cigar or pretend cigar/purito. I have 30-40 different types of cigars at home. Maybe a monte 4/5....maybe a LGC M04. A ERDMCX or Partagas Short?  Help."

My wife's favorite cigar is Monte Media Corona. She's also very fond of the Siglo VI, go figure 🤣

montecarlo.

cheap, easy to smoke, and won't look bad when it burns out half way though.

My fiancé only has smoked one cigar completely but has puffed on a few here and there.   She prefers cubans over anything else and she like the monte 2 and the Sancho Panza Belicoso the best so far.

She gets smoking mad when she gets an idea of how much I spend on cigars

My last and current ladies both are non smokers but really enjoyed my Trinidads the best (smell and taste). I think they both just have expensive taste. They are light and approachable with that ever present sweetness.

Stay away from NC....every woman in my life says I "stink" when I smoke one. Cubans always get a thumbs up. Its to the point my girlfriend knows when its a cuban or not when I light up.

My good lady appreciates the mild and smaller format El Principe with a couple years down, and the chocolate in Monte 3 and 4 (she prefers the smaller 4) with some rest.

While she'll try  anything on occasion, PL Montecarlos are what my wife smoke if she's going to have one. I imagine LGC M d'O would work as well though I'm keeping those for me!

This reminds me of something interesting I've noticed about my girlfriend.  Frequently she'll take a puff off whatever cigar I'm smoking, and give me feedback.  She claims she has her favorites, but she is never consistent in her judgement on a cigar.  I make a mental notes of cigars she has said she likes, but next time she takes a puff of the same cigar, her opinion on it changes more often that not.  😂

She's great though, she lets me smoke in her apartment during the colder months, as my building is non-smoking and hers isn't.

Glad someone else has noticed this.  I find NC's have a less pleasant aroma as well.

It's consistent enough from non-cigar smokers to be of note to me. I personally find cubans dont leave a "stank" on my clothes, beard or even in the room I smoke in like even the nicest non-cubans. I will say very young cubans can be very NC "stinky", but I rarely smoke anything younger than 5 years old.

My girlfriend will take a puff if she's nearby and Im smoking from time to time. She's actually very consistent and will call out tasting notes (sometimes even remembers ones she's had), but she's very deep into coffee so it lends itself.

The Mrs enjoys taking puffs out of just about anything I'm smoking (I only smoke CCs). When it comes to her smoking a whole cigar of her own she prefers shorter smokes. Her favorite right now is Romeo y Julieta Petit Royales. I believe she's smoking through her 3rd box of those. Mind you she's generous with her friends and sisters who come over and want to be "Cool" like her and smoke Cubans.

Cohiba Shorts almost exclusively. Tried the crappy NC variations but keeps coming back to the Cohibas.

My wife smokes with me several nights a week. But she will only smoke infused cigars. She's tried many of the CC's recommended in this thread but likes the infused better. I actually feel pretty lucky. As long as I keep her humidor stocked with what she likes. I have companionship while smoking and she never complains about what I spend.

Generally sweeter chocolate blends with a touch of spice such as Padrons are her go to smokes. May try Montecristo next, but I usually just provide Padron Londres Maduro as they are half the cost of the cheapest CC.

@Meklown nailed it. Offer something based on her taste not her being a woman. Does she like sweet stuff? Try sweeter cigars or ones with pastry notes like Trinidads. Does she like dark chocolate or black coffee? Try a RG or Bolivar. Most importantly, don't overthink it. The whole point is for it to be an enjoyable activity together, not a high stakes stressful proposition.
