Welcome to the 2022 International Fat Bastard Competition! 12 week challenge* Bijan....don't actually count the weeks    This is the weekend we start  The Rules: 1. Regis

You all have got to be kidding, right? After investing thousands of dollars building my tool shed ,you want me to lose it for a chance at some stogies? No way, I'm fat and sassy with plenty of stogies

weighed this morning, last month was good, this month I'm back up to 253lbs / 114.759 kg . So in reality in 3 months I only lost 2 lbs..

ugh... my failure is complete...

my update: 259.2lbs

not what I was hoping for (as I've really changed up my diet), but at least it's going in the right way.

April update isn't much better. I suck.

254.8lbs.

I mean I guess it's good I'm down approx 10lbs....but man...I'd rather go back to eating better food and gaining that 10lbs back.

(wife won't agree though)

This one is for all of those in the FBC

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being "absolutely strict"

how strict have you been yto your plan/program during the FBC

Score it.

Now score your result to date with 10 being "Exceeding expectations".

Is there a correlation :D

I’ve stuck to my plan to eat healthier and ride my bike regularly much better than I thought I would by now, but there’s definitely some splurging on the weekends happening - I’d give myself an 8.

Results are a mixed bag. I would’ve hoped to have lost a bit more weight by now, but I can honestly say I feel better than I have in a few years, my occasional heart palpitations are completely gone, and I have more energy and focus - I’ll go with a 6 here...maybe even adjust it for age up to 7.

And now for some Keto porn. This has become a pretty typical homemade lunch for me during the comp - grilled Chilean sea bass with herbs, steamed broccoli, some borlotti beans, all on a bed of spinach. :hungry:

I would say it’s a 6.5 for me. I made some lifestyle changes (joined a gym, and packing salads for lunch everyday at work) and cut back on the alcohol, but I still have the occasional beer and sweets.

There is a lot of room to be more strict but I found over the years that I harder I go with that, the worse it is when I cut loose. If I feel better and am losing weight steadily, I am happy with that.

On my results I would give it an 8. I am happy with the steady loss and plan to ramp it up a little since I will start being able to get outside more this month.

Strict diet and training with just a few hiccups BBQ & wine nights (where I once smashed a bag of nachos that kicked me out of ketosis)

= Effort: 7

Lost a good amount of fat but hardly gained muscles, which is normal since it's difficult being on a calorie-restricted diet and grow, but I did get much stronger/upped reps/intensity over a two-month's period

= Results: 6.5

I am planning a special cigar for when the last weigh-in has been sent in... Hang in there everyone and let's get cracking the final 4 weeks:fuel:

  • 4 weeks later...

Ooo We have the weekend for weigh in. I took mine this morning but I might loose more. 50/50 shot though since I'm smoking 8 racks of ribs tomorrow. I'll post them if I get lighter. until then here's mine. Hoping to get below 300 the next couple days.

I did better than I’d hoped! Thank you for putting this competition on Rob, it was apparently what I needed to push through the excuses I make to myself year after year. This is my lowest weight since before my son was born.
