Beat me to it…just saw it myself. Sad day. He was a personality that defined the modern NFL in so many ways for so many generations. Need to make it a point to catch the new FOX Sports doc they made that released a couple days ago.

BOOM!!!!

May his memory be eternal

Damn that’s sad. What passion he had for the game. RIP

He was a legend. Very sad. I did record the special that ran on Christmas Day. I haven’t watched it yet and it will be different watching it now.

My favourite team as a kid was the Oakland Raiders when he was coach.  RIP

I was fortunate enough to eat breakfast with him a couple of times when we both lived in the same neighborhood in Cali. He gave us kids a tour of his traveling bus as he didn't fly for work, one very cool dude.

Recorded the All Madden special that just aired this past weekend and finally had a chance last night to sit down and watch it.  Very well heartfelt put together show.

There will never be another John Madden.

RIP John

I saw him once buying a large can of tuna fish in a local market in Carmel. He was one of my all time heroes. Rest in peace coach.
