Folks, we performed a software upgrade to the forum earlier in the week... while it went smoothly, there are always little hangover glitches to clear up. Tapatalk is often one that requires picking of a few thorns out of the side...

If you're having any issues, across the board, please send me a PM and we'll look into it and get it sorted as quickly and effectively as possible. 

Re new Ranks & Icons:

Short to mid-term (to perhaps long-term) solution is below... 

Perlas 0 [green]

Marevas 100 [light blue]

Campanas 500 [bronze]

Prominentes 2500 [silver]

Pelo de Oro 15000 [gold]

 

Currently using rough little FOH Monkey icons in various colours to designate respective levels. Can change this later, had to do something quickly as you cannot reset the parameters without an icon image.

For those not aware, Steve and Nick yesterday undertook a large forum upgrade. They did a great job as it went remarkably well. It takes a day or so to work out what has broken in the upgrade but if you see anything amiss (like ranks/icons) shoot Steve a PM (MoeFOH).

Perhaps length of membership should factor into your ranking metric, in some fashion, as opposed to purely basing on post count?

Just sticking up for those of us that don't blather on just to up their post count.😜

I've calculated that with an average of 10 posts a day for a year starting today I will have 3650 additional post counts at the end of 2022 and by then also have lost my job so I will have time to post 30/day starting 2023 and reached gold by the end of 2023.

Agree. These are short-term icons. They'll be round (if possible) when we transition to permanent ones.
