Popular Post GVan Posted November 20, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 20, 2021 It's a rainy and windy Saturday morning in Florida. I was looking through my old posts / pictures on FOH and I realized this blog is what started me on a new hobby as well as contributing a few more friends. I love the friendship, camaraderie and helpful nature of the members. I've PM'd many of you and am amazed at the quick responses and offers of assistance, information and the free sharing of knowledge that occurs (Cuban Cigars, Cars, Watches, Beer, Bourbon, Scotch, Fishing, Vacation destinations and different perspectives just on life)! It's kind of a ritual for me to see what's newly posted on FOH over the weekends. Of course, I have to see the cigar porn displayed in FOH'ers Daily Smoke and Your Latest CC Purchase. My wife has heard me laughing out load at one of @El Presidente and @Ken Gargett video's or one of the Friday Funny posts. I'll bet a lot of you do the same! Nothing like leaving this blog with a smile on your face and perhaps a fresh perspective on life or cigars. It's all incredibly good - but as we all know there can be a big change to your lifestyle that occurs. Picture #1 below from when I first joined FOH in February 2020. When I was into cigars but, mostly NC's for many years. Picture #2 and #3 from today! No explanation necessary ..... Thanks to all the members that positively participate and contribute here. And of course thanks to Rob, Diana and the whole FOH team for making the changes / enjoymant above and below possible 19

InCheTasteWeTrust Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 Enjoying limitida edicions only and tasting nuts, hazels and oaky balls are impostor syndroms instagram guys are suffering from. Don't be one. That's what FOH taught me. 3
Popular Post Greenhorn2 Posted November 20, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 20, 2021 Changed my perspective from retiring early to working till I'm dead. 2 16
Popular Post LLC Posted November 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 21, 2021 I had been lurking for a while but many years ago Rob and Hamlet were coming to an event in Toronto so I decided to officially sign up and put my name in to attend the event. Didn’t know anyone so was a bit hesitant to even go but I did and it was a game changer. Met a lot of people many who are still friends to this day and some of who I’ve traveled with to Havana on a few occasions. Lots of great people on the forum and I know if I traveled to their city, they’d welcome me to enjoy a cigar with them. 10
Popular Post Toast & Taste Posted November 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 21, 2021 FOH has drastically changed my bank account. Big Al 5 1 5
Popular Post Ford2112 Posted November 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 21, 2021 I have been here a short time, and I am hopelessly addicted to buying off 24:24 . That much has changed! 5
Popular Post Connoisseur Kim Posted November 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 21, 2021 FOH allowed me to discover moar great CCs like Connie A and the greatnesss of skinny CCs such as LGC MdO No. 4, Monte 1, and Party Shorts. FOH also helped me to figure out the best way to store CCs (I'm currently using tupperdors with 65% RH Boveda packs, but will get Raching cabinet for bigger CC stroage), learn 65/65 rule, and practice longer resting period (thanks to FOH members including @PigFish). Besides, I'm really addicted to buying 24:24 CCs and these CCs make me happy for sure 😃. I recommended my Korean buddies to join in FOH and they're really happy with 24:24 CCs and FOH too 😄. 12
Popular Post Cayman17 Posted November 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 21, 2021 By virtue of my affiliation with FOH, I have vastly improved my ability to politely communicate with women while I’m drunk. 2 8

People knock the NC and it's bullshit. I really like my CC's and tend in that direction but I still buy about 4 to 6 boxes of NC's each year. Now, I'm much more selective in only buying NC's that I've smoked and really like. The other nice part is with all of the CC's that I smoke - the NC's now have time to age. One of the top cigars over the last 2 years was a 1999 Padron A that was hidden in the back of the humidor. While the majority of my buys will be CC's there will always be ~ 10% NC's in the collection as well. 2
Popular Post Habana Mike Posted November 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 22, 2021 Aside from stocking the humidors to the roof, first trip to Cuba with the boys. Major impact on my life, we'll soon be the godparents of our Cuban family's baby if all goes well. Not sure when we'll next get to visit. That and meeting many great and like minded people over the years while also gaining a lot more knowledge. Cigars and otherwise.... 6
Popular Post Edicion Posted November 22, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 22, 2021 I've improved my communication skills. 1 11
gustavehenne Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 It's been hugely positive. I used to smoke more NCs than CCs which has completely changed and I'm now much more informed about the cigar industry in general. I think this forum is absolutely terrific and there are certain members that really have so much depth of experience that a question really never goes unanswered. I do still love NCs but I reach for CCs much more and my collection is now 70/30 in favour of CCs. Rob and the team do such great work so it's difficult not to throw my money at them. 3
El Hoze Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Before FOH I thought having more than one desktop humidor in my apartment was borderline excessive. Now I have a house with a walk-in closet full of hundreds of boxes and it seems completely reasonable. (certainly now with the supply shortage!) 3

My buddies are digging skinnies too after joining FOH (bought tons of Punch 898, Monte 1, and Monte Esp #2 boxes). Also, Connie A became one of their CC rotations like us 😄. 3
AndrewNR Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 I dabbled in shisha, ncs, cheap Cubans and flavoured cigars as a youngen, read a cigar czar review on a Cohiba that was incredibly written back in 2006 and in 2007 or 2008 bought that cigar and some others.. went from there. Could reminisce for hours about different things this place has been and taught me since. Was lucky enough to meet some of the stalwarts at a havanathon probably 8 years ago now. Time flies 2
Popular Post RichG Posted November 23, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 23, 2021 It’s bleeding beyond the cigars…just bought Roederer 242…make the madness stop… Much of my initial discovery of the world of internet cigars was through Reddit, so discovering FoH was a big step up in content and class. Great information, helpful people, awesome bargains on 24:24 and just an overall cool community spirit. Most, if not all of the valuable information I have learned about habanos stems from here. 5
Juliano88 Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 As a history buff, I am fascinated about cigar history as far as brands, industry and just learning about the whole cigar making process. So I always felt I had all of this useless information in my head since none of my buddies share the same passion for cigars. And then I found FOH, and now I can have these discussions with people who won't think I'm crazy talking about box codes and crop years 🙂 2 1
Popular Post mprach024 Posted November 24, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 24, 2021 I don’t care what anyone says, no one was buying skinnies before they joined here. Yeah yeah a couple of you blah blah blah been buying skinnies since you were blah blah blah. Now most skinnies are the first ones to say ALL SOLD on the 24:24. Profound impact I think. 5
