“The chemist wakes up in the morning and says, ‘Let’s try the following seven compounds.’ They try the seven compounds, none of them work. And at five o’clock, they go home to have dinner and think, watch television, and the next morning they think of another seven. Well, the computer can do a hundred million in a day. That’s a huge accelerant in what they’re doing.”

An in depth, philosophical interview with Toto Wolff, the boss of the Mercedes Formula 1 team.  Smart guy.

My favorite improv podcast.  The characters come in around minute 16.  This episode is sort of anti-humor, but one of my favs...

Russell Brand's Under The Skin has a wealth of great interviews on a wide range of topics.

Also enjoying his Football Is Nice podcast for a different take on the EPL.

Dave Chappelle's The Midnight Miracle is very cool too.

Ok here it comes. Yep I'm a huge fan of Joe Rogan and his podcast.

He had Amanda Knox on recently. She spent four years in an Italian prison following a wrongful conviction for the murder of her roommate: a sentence that was ultimately overturned by the Italian Supreme Court. Incredibile story.

Maybe I find it particularly interesting because I spent about two months in the city where the events took place (a year or so after the actual killing), and my flat was minutes away from where it happened, plus I took a course at the same school they did. It all felt very real, and I met people who all knew or claimed to know the victim, killer(s) and even Amanda.

Great story and very captivating. I raised my arms in the air more than once and said "what...." out loud a few times.

The Joe Rogan Experience

Joe sits down with Yoel Romero to discuss his history as a fighter and wrestler from Cuba, and Joey Diaz joins to assist with translation from Spanish.

Joey Diaz is one of the funniest people on earth but in this episode, it's a lot about the hard life for people from Cuba, in Cuba, and what happens after they leave the island. It's in English and Spanish at the same time, so a perfect opportunity to brush up on the language skills.

Was commenting on a post here on the forum about Cuban athletes, and ended up watching the episode again. You can both listen and watch then. Slow pace but lively, perfect with Lonsdale.

Tim Ferriss in general continues to stay at the top of my list for incredible quality and usefulness in my everyday life.

Another that I've stumbled upon recently as a result of Tim, has been Huberman Lab. If you're interested at all about our nervous system, sleep, eye-sight, etc.

Lex Fridman podcast is worth trawling for gems... a lot of AI (Intelligence, not Insemination :D) based interviews/guests, but a variety of other interesting stuff, too. He's a guy that takes time to warm to as he seems straight up banal and monotone at the outset but he's a very intelligent and thoughtful interviewer.

Find him on Spotify or YouTube.

Looking for laughs…Had no idea who he was, went to a local show and was crying with laughter…then started listening to the duo Two Bears One Cave. Not politically correct…

Click and Clack the Tappit Brothers on Car Talk Radio. It's free on the NPR site."Alexa, Car Talk Radio on NPR please."

It doesn't matter if you care about cars or not, these two brothers made some GREAT radio and you can tell that they really appreciated each other. I was sad when the duo had to call it quits. Just pick any episode at random. It's that good.

p.s. It's sometimes worth it to listen to the previous week's episode so that you can participate in the answer reveal to the puzzler questions.  I would also plug El Pres' recent Lounge Lizard appearance. It was solid.
