Recommendation: 'Corona-ish' with fruit notes

 As a big fan of cigars with fruit notes (cherry, citrus, stone fruit, whatever) I wanted to know if you guys could point me in the direction of a corona-ish sized smoke that delivers? It can be a CC or NC, it doesn't really matter. I know RyJ has about 10 of them but I haven't really heard a good thing about any of them.

RASCC has a stewed fruit note to them .. my mind goes to Raisin .....

Quai d'Orsay Coronas Claro has a citrus/orange to it.

From the RyJ small cigars, Sports Largos are the best to me (cherry and sometimes Turkish delight), but a bit smaller than a corona.

Rafael Gonzalez Petit Coronas (maybe Perlas too) can have a fruit element on occasion, but again more of a stewed/dried fruit like the RASCC.

I get the same creamsicle from aged Siglo V so perhaps aged Siglo III if you're looking for Coronaesque?  I think their flavor profiles are very similar when young for sure.

Seconded - the citrus notes from Siglo III/V’s are glorious.

Second. As they age it’s more dried fruit. Young it’s fresh fruit, but man they can pack a wallop!

These are definitely on my list to try...although it is a rather long list 

 

And I suspect I would have better luck finding Jimmy Hoffa than those QdOs at this point 😁

The first time the QDOs Corona Claros showed up here out of the blue one day earlier this year--I was stunned and got a box--probably because most other folks figured it was an error by our host and were slow on the draw.🙂

Only 2 I can think of that have strong fruit componentry (& have been mentioned above) are:

the cigars i consistently get fruit flavors from would be any RA for chocolate raisins, the RyJ Exhibicion No.4 for cherry coke, and the JLS2 for chocolate orange

  It doesn't seem too long ago when you could go grab a SLR Petit Corona, Corona, Corona Gorda and Lonsdale and see if you enjoyed them and were what you were looking for

I havnt gotten them from any other HdM! They’re the darkest wrappers I’ve seen on a HdM. I’m definitely thinking it has something to do with it

I second the RASCC. Raisin and stewed/cooked fruit on good ones.
