I've smoked some stellar cigars and some expensive cigars, but never really understand the GC prices...MAYBE a single but the 100 I dropped on a Behike a few times, I'd generally rather get a a box of Partagas Shorts

As much as I would like to think that I would flip the box after a couple years at a healthy profit, in truth I would never be able to part with the box for fear of missing the pleasure of the smoke. But I would be so afraid of being disappointed in a less than amazing cigar, that I would never open the box to even try one. So best to just stay away from the rum in the first place and never be tempted. Now, where is the bourbon at?

Nothings Is off limits but I’d limit how often I chose to enjoy one. I’d enjoy that box over many years.

Why do I get the feeling I’m going to do something similar in the near future? It’s like you’re a fortune teller displaying my fate for all to see...

I pay the card in full every month regardless of how steep it gets and I’ve found any regrets cease once I’ve settled up.  This makes for a lot of unnecessary purchases and limited windows of regret.  But “future me” appreciates all the down payments “current me” is making for future smoking enjoyment.

I honestly don't think I could smoke them - as much as I would want too... not when I could flip them five years later and buy how many boxes of regular production to put away. 5 years later and $8000 richer should buy a lot of Sir Winnies... I hope ?
