JohnS Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 If these athletes had a higher profile, well, I'd say the story would be different (thankfully)!
MooseAMuffin Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Horrible example for kids. C'mon, how am I supposed to explain to my kiddo that cigars are bad for you when a collegiate athlete is smoking on national television??? ?
westg Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Especially where I live now. It would be practically suicide to lite a cigar away from home , at home after 9pm is safe. Fire brigade would be called before hand. Somehow , somehow however vaping seems to be okay. Too bad the celebration was ruined. No doubt an invaluable contrbition to society has been made by the tossers who stopped it. Can't tell you how much I miss doing this .

Viva Vegas Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Nothing wrong with smoking a cigar to celebrate a victory. They are not kids , over 21 is an adult, smoke away team 1

Colt45 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 According to other reports, the players laughed at the copper and kept on going. ?? 1 1
T.52 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 I have an important question...does anyone know what type of cigars they were smoking? Here's an Instagram photo of Borrow smoking a stogie. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7SloFJhaGf/
Wookie Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Smoking a cigar in one of the most depraved cities in USA, not to mention one of the most corrupt states in our country. Good to know hypocrisy is alive and well! 2
T.52 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Found it. They were smoking Karl Malone by La Aurora Cigars. Karl Malone is of course the ex-Utah Jazz NBA player who is from Louisiana. Quote Malone’s cigars hit the market in late 2018. The Dominican-made smokes feature Ecuadoran binder and wrapper tobaccos, and a filler blend of tobaccos from Peru, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. https://www.forbes.com/sites/gclaywhittaker/2020/01/14/heres-the-cigar-the-2020-championship-lsu-tigers-smoked-to-celebrate
rcarlson Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Just how I'd do it if I won the national championship. 3

I am also 80%+ sure the whole post is satire. It is sad (on society’s part) when farce is so closely aligned with “factual” reporting. 1
Mikeltee Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 At the rate this country is going, next year's celebration will be blunts... That is a pic of one cool, calm, and collected young man. From that pic alone in that situation, I can tell that he is going to be an amazing role model for our youth once he hits the big league. This is exactly what the league needs to circumvent the goons like AB which have been crowding the headlines for years. Welcome to the big time son... I'd be proud of my kids wearing your number on a Steelers Jersey, but as long as it's not a Patriots jersey, you will have my respect.

Habana Mike Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Always like to see victories celebrated with cigars! 2
mtapia3 Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 It is now a crime to smoke cigars at California beaches. But it's perfectly fine for a vagrant to defecate, masturbate and discard their hype needles on these same beaches, since being "mentally ill" is not a crime. 1
Burningman Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 OK so that cop has zero sense. Does he know how rough the rest of his career would have been if he had been dumb enough to arrest the pride of Louisiana for a misdemeanor just after winning the title?
