Picked out one to try over Christmas to see. They’re silky, heavy and pungent. I obviously had flash on. They are a shade or two darker than the photo. The construction seems perfect.

@Kongelunden I used to be a little disappointed when I got a fresh box with no age on them. The way 2019 and 2020 have been producing (amazing), I get a little disappointed if I get something from 2018 or younger. Your box is flawless. Congrats

@Bri Fi Thanks a lot - I'm certainly looking forward to sampling these, and based upon the reviews on the 19 and 20 production it seems I do not need to wait long before being able to enjoy the marvels of the BBF ?

About midway through my first single, I knew I was destined to pay the piper. I must say, presentation is a bit over the top for my tastes.

Funny, looking at the photos I now see a few sticks with strange spots on them, didn’t even notice this looking at the cigars. Gotta check this out when I get home.

Excited to see MUP ABR 2018 box code...until I googled it only to find the thread on FOH describing them as tasing like dirt. Guess I’ll have to wait for some warmer weather to find out.

A double christmas package arrived on the doorstep today from our kind host. Both look and smell amazing, and the Upmann #2 even has two years of age on them - the color, sheen and amazing smell almost made me fire one up immediately ?

Interesting I thought GLE was the new MUP code. Hopefully that was just a batch of bad tobacco. Light one up and let us know how it smokes in 30!

Great cigars when aged, you're going to enjoy them.

I opened a May 14 cab in May of 19.  I've got 7 left, smoked one today.  They are still on the way up, plenty of leg left.  I just received a Feb 14 cab here and have a 2015 PLPC cab in transit.  Curious to see if there's a difference in the lighter wrappers, my last cab was pretty dark similar to yours.
