Happiest and realist moments of our lives ?

So today at 633 am the newest member of FOH was born. Andrew Gerard. 7 lb 13 oz and 21 in long. The happiest moment of my life was when I heard my son cry ... I knew he was alive ! I literally started to cry myself. It was a c section so I couldn’t see him come out and my only sign was to hear him, it was like a gusher of overwhelming tears of joy.

After 24 hours of labor then then a c section wife and baby are all good and healthy. Thank god !

I only say that to say when we got to the recovery room and my wife was snoring and basically high on pain meds and I was left with this little life in my hands and no idea what to do it became as real as I have ever known. So far so good and many blessings to come.

Congrats brother. My baby is almost a year old. Seems like yesterday she was born. There is gonna be a ton of highs and lows in the coming months. Nothing is harder work and more rewarding. It can be three days straight of crying and no sleep, but once you get that smile and eye shimmer... allll better

Congratulations, Brad!  I have some nice cigars lined up to smoke in his honor!  

Same with me.  One of the happiest moments was when my daughter was born.  And there have been many more, as I spent time with her and watched her grow up.  Took a year off from work to her 6 month age to 1.5 years to experience the stay-at-home dad life, and enjoyed many priceless moments.  Children truly are a gift, a treasure!

Congratulations! We had our first child, a baby boy, in December. It’s been the ultimate gift that keeps on giving. The first smile, the first hug, his first word (Dada ??)....I was at one point indifferent to having kids and am now realizing why most humans go through this process!
