That was part of my logic, Steamboat real estate is still relatively reasonable compared to say Vail and with some growth it might just appreciate a bit. And with low property taxes in Colorado I can rent it out Xmas/NYE and Presidents weekend and cover all of my overhead. Pretty amazing he just turned 3 in December and can already ski and snowboard pretty well (albeit I keep him on a leash!). I learned at that age as well…my wife learned at 30. Luckily she is pretty determined! I believe the EWR flight to Steamboat is every Saturday with some Sunday flights. I live in South Florida and Jet Blue also now has a new direct flight from Ft. Vail is right up there but it's a bit glitzy for me even though the skiing is 1st rate. The all time favorite "let's go f'n skiing" is Big Sky Montana. I got there last yearend we ripped that place for 6 days. Jackson Hole is right up there and the resorts in Banff provincial park in Alberta are awesome. I'm not taking into account travel concerns. Like 1st and 2nd jabs, I didn't experience any side effects including pain at all 😃. Felt more like Queensland but with the magical long twilight that I love this time of year. Enjoying a beer and a cigar in the mellow light after dinner is a joy. Found a nice couple of imperial pastry sours with apricot that went well with a coro. A forest fruits style imperial sour with JL#2 and a coffee then half a coffee stout with the Big Boy Bolivar. Went all gangstar with the pic. Apols, but my new year's resolution is to embrace narcissism and see how many people I can alienate. I'm now identifying as Will because it sounds nicer to the younger generation. Ha ha! All part of mid-life crisis #4. Now for the Russian mistress. A couple of shots of the ski area, me, and the bros.
