If you could pick 15 discontinued cigars that would meet your rotation needs

If you could pick 15 discontinued cigars that would meet your rotation needs ( discontinued from 2000 on).

I was thinking about this last night. If HSA came to me and said...."shut up"....pick 15 cigars for the rest of your life and... "shut up" :D

You can pick anything that has been discontinued since 2000. These would be your last cigars...but a never ending supply.

What would your list be?

Looking at my list...I am not really suited to modern trends

Great list, can't really add much to that, although I'd throw in:

Party Charlottes

Party Lonsdales

Punch SS1/SS2

Punch Coronas/PC/TPC

RA Coronas/PC

So I guess mine's a top 20, but that's all the cigars I miss unless you count cab versions of cigars that are still produced today.

I couldn't do more then echo what's already been put, PC's, lonsdales, Coronas, skinnies. Brilliant.

These lists posted have class, style and more than anything show the utter height of what Cuba can produce..or what it used to be able to produce, a glimpse back to when style was understated, money was subtle and class shone through without bands and in plain wooden cabinets

... well put.

Yes, I have a list, and still a lot of the cigars.

Cigars had class and elegance, good feel in the hand, respectful of the resource tobacco, built to fit a mood, taste and timeframe. Little of that exists anymore.

Smokers could experiment and find a good collection (hoard) regardless of likes. There were ample Churchills, PC's, Coronas, Lonsdales and Panetelas, robustos and figurados. Brand hunting and tasting, vitola experimenting was a part of the path of learning and loving Cuban cigars. Smokers could mature, and find a fit... No longer!

Smokers tastes and the variety that they wanted was respected by a company that could afford to respect them. A poorly managed company is constantly on the scramble to market and not support, to sell and not cater to the customer. The customer centric company is gone!

I could build my list from many above. What is the point? Most of what I considered superior cigar are gone now. Tabacuba does not build much in the way of cigars that I recognize as superior anymore. The collectors all own them now, and the hoarders of course! And that is a shame for smokers of the Cuban leaf!

Agreed. It almost made mine. I have one box left and am almost scared to start smoking from it!

I wish I had a box left... Used to smoke these like they were potato chips...

Like I have said before, I once tried to buy 1000 of them, when vendors could not give them away, that is how much I loved them! -tP
