Wish List 2017

Recommended Posts

Ok guys, as we take a break for the next couple weeks and begin to get 24:24 withdrawals (believe me you will) what are some of the cigars you would like to own in 2017:. Here are mine but probably wishful thinking unless their is some magnificent turnaround in production..

Cohiba CE and lanceros, siglio 6

monte especials #1 and monte 1, 3

HDM Des Dieux, epicure especials

H.Upmann Sir Winston

Aged RG Corona extra and Sancho Panza Molinos

c&c punch coronations

I think that's it but list may change tomorrow

Cohiba Siglo III

Cohiba Siglo V

I think I have enough at the moment, (okay, one of the beloved Camp Winnepesaukee guys will reply, "You can never have enough, John!") but there's no doubt something will come up on a 24:24 that is a must buy and will cause me great angst ("must have, must have" thoughts will enunciate in my head over and over...I can imagine and see it now!).

So, below is a list of stock I'd like Roberto not to put up on 24:24 in 2017 to prevent the above from happening...

Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo des Dieux

H.Upmann Sir Winstons

La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No.2

Diplomaticos No.4 and No.5

Diplomaticos Bushido that PCC have hid somewhere and decided to give to Rob to flog off

Same above for Ramon Allones Celestiales Finos

Any Cohiba stock prior to 2010

If any of the above ensues, I may console myself with Rob's mantra, "They're just cigars people!" :coverears::covereyes::covermouth:

Ramon Allones Sups. I haven't had any since I finished a MUR13 box. Both size and flavor really plucked the right notes for me.
Must have rob source a box next year of something for aging for the birth of my girl who was born this August.

I'll be scanning the 24:24 for these fine sticks:

Upmann Mag 46

Monte #2, good ones

Punch Punch

898's

BBFs

SCdlH any as I'm starting to explore the marca

RASS

and maybe some coronas or PCs I haven't tried yet, which is a lot!  I buy between 4-6 boxes a year, fine for my burn rate so I'll miss out on a few of these but this is what I'm looking for!

My realistic wishlist for 2017 would be:

HDM Epicure Especiales

PSP RyJ Wide Churchills

Cohiba Corona Especiales

EDRM Choix Supreme

Juan Lopez # 2

Montecristo Especial #1

Montecristo Dantes (ok this one might not be realistic, but I'll throw out some positive vibes)

My first boxes of 2017 will likely be any of the following:

Punch Punch cab (10 box of NOV 15 on the way now)

Monte 1/Monte 3

BCG

JL S1/S2

And desperately awaiting the Punch 48 and Hoyo Elegantes LCDH releases as well as the Trini Topes and Monte Dantes ELs.

More of just a what's next list than a wish list but I'll be looking out for these on 24:24:

Hoyo De Monterrey EE

Quai D'orsay Coronas (feel like I've been waiting awhile for these)

Mag 46

Dip 2

I've been obsessed with the stories/reviews I seen about how 50 cabs age so I'm thinking that will be my focus in 2017 if offerings are worth it.

I've currently got the urge for a 50 cab, simply because I've never had one to dip into endlessly- so PLPC and Party Shorts it is.

Thunder & Lightening '76-'15

Relatively short list in 2017.

Sir Winston
JL #1
Bolivar Tesoro RE 5ta Avenida
HDM Elegantes LCDH

Then I'll replenish the Trini Vigias and Boli Libertador once I finish the currently open boxes and I'll get a few assorted singles of interesting LE and RE to see if one might be box worthy.

Oh - and a ton of CoSho :)

That looks pretty good.  I might add some CoLa & Sig IV & V to the above list if they come back around in good numbers.

I've recently fell in love with Trinidad.   Got a box of PSP Reyes from our host and found them to be like a 'poor man's cohiba'.   So for 2017 I hope to catch a few of:

Trindad Robusto's (hopefully PSP off of the 24:24)

You don't need us to tell you that you never have enough. You already have some on your list and you will find more over the next few months....
