I did for a year, then gave them all to a regular at the previous shop I worked at, and his wife put them all on a small humi I had that I wasn't using....I'll have to post a pic...it came out beautifully. I do not collect them anymore after that.

Yep. I have a notebook that I attach the label to and write down my experiences with that stick and size.

I save all of them, as for why? I have no earthly idea, one of those "well I always have" type situations.

I have hundreds ,started collecting in the 60s...

I used to, religiously. Nowadays, I just lay them somewhere here or there. Then eventually, they get tossed. But I once upon a time filled up several glass and plastic clear containers with my bands. 'Guess I've just evolved or grown past my "little girlie" fascination and such!

Yes, but now after winter they're all laying around in my car. Will have to do a cleanup of that mess soon. Ugh. Long commute...

Saved them religiously for a while some years back, had bags full. Also empty boxes.

Finally said what the heck and tossed just about all of them out. Don't bother to save unless special anymore.

I usually do. Can't really say why. I have a huge amount of them at this point.

I save them since 2003 or 2004, I don't even know why… Now I have several thousands, in old DC cabs, carafes, water jugs, glass vases, big Ziplock bags, etc. …must be neurotic…unknown.gif

I have them all over the place in my mancave but used to put them in a journal

I have a large glass vase I save them in. When it's full, I put them in a big Ziploc baggie. I save that for a year or so, then throw them away.

I suppose I could just empty the vase into the trash when it's full and do away with the baggie part, but I keep thinking I might do something with them some day, but never do.

I thought about it but never did. Every now and then I realise that I've still got piles of crap from years ago that serve no discernible purpose and have a clear out ( ranging from cassette tapes that'll never get played through cards from restaurants that'll never get visited to various magazines that'll never get read). Cigar bands don't need to become a future clear out.

I used to but I don't bother anymore.
