CBL Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Looking forward to this one. Should be perfect for an hour between classes, the tin box can go right in my backpack!
pocket9s Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 I am not so sure about these. It's just too short of a smoke. It will all come down to pricing for me whether these get my attention or not.
tsolomon Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 I will have to try these, should be a good cold weather smoke for next winter.
MoneyPit Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 If my math is right then it's approximately 3.54 inches long (90 mm). What's the projected smoke time on that? 30 minutes?
docbp87 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Like pocket9s, this will probably come down to pricing for me. If the price is right, and they taste good, then I will be smoking a lot of these probably.
Cohiba007 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Suckling said that these were very strong. That alone makes me want to try at least a fiver
Cohiba007 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 If my math is right then it's approximately 3.54 inches long (90 mm). What's the projected smoke time on that? 30 minutes? Geez. Just saw that. So these are shorter than a minuto. Ouch
mbrody Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 These are a 110% must try for me. The 1/2 corona is a big staple in my rotation and I hope these deliver like all the other great 1/2 coronas! Very excited as Upman is alsoprevalent in my humi.
bob25 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 These will work great when you dont have much time but still want to smoke something. Hope they will be good. Any news regarding the price Rob ?
BossHogg Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 These will work great when you dont have much time but still want to smoke something. I agree, I am definitely interested.
PigFish Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 ...well we had the Amatistas once; thinner, longer, probably better (I like them anyway) and they got cancelled. Let me guess, over priced, nice box etc., etc. This cigar is one I want to try but I would rather have the Amatistas back, or maybe the Party PC! H SA... go fish! On the other hand, cardboard back of 15 like the Hoyo Short Robo and price them at about $50 for the box of 15 and you got a deal!!! Who says marketing is hard? -Piggy
davidl Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Is it EL or regular production? Sam - excuse the ignorance...but what's the difference?
cigcars Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 *It looks like another take-off of the Romeo & Julieta short Wide Churchill
MPS Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 This should fit in well during my post lunch rotation currently being Siglo I, Upmann PC, SCdLH El Principe, Partagas Short, PLPC and ERDM Lunch Club.
cigaraholic Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 To short, 90mm what a joke. Half corona because they got the ring gauge right?
Tarks Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Sam - excuse the ignorance...but what's the difference? Aged tobacco and a second band.
Scott08 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 44 ring gauge perfect. 3.54 in? Not so perfect. Why not make it a 5 x 44 and you have the perfect size for an anytime smoke? just my 2 cents for what it's worth.
LeafLover Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Minuto's shorter, chubbier little brother?
mm12 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 I'm a big Upmann fan, so I'm intrigued by these, but I have never once thought "I'd like to smoke a minuto, but I just don't have the time". If they had made this 4.3 X 44, I'd be pretty exited.
MIKA27 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 I'm keen to try these even if they are extremely short. When will these be released here Prez?
mkz Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 On one hand Im glad that new half corona/minuto is launched. On the other hand.... why did they cancel the Diplomaticos 5 and Punch Petit Punch??????
