TLU MAR 2020 Reyes with a cup of coffee. Beautiful morning with a slight breeze around 70Β°-75Β°F. I had a Topes the other day that was phenomenal. This little booger can hold it's own in a barfight! It has legs for years. These will go back down for another nap. The first 1/3 was kind of meh, but it's calming down and mellowing out some in the 2/3.14 points

From Thursday. PSE2. UBL ABR 22. A little wrapper cracking but otherwise a phenomenal smoke. Pardon the inelegant picture. JLS1. BRT JUL 23. Watching the sun rise and enjoying some cold brew on a beautiful Saturday morning. Slight draws issues but sublime in the last third. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk12 points

DiplomΓ‘ticos El Emisario EdiciΓ³n Regional Suiza First one I smoked! Not blown away flat on flavors. Will try another in about a month before I will say it need age. Regardless of age a cigar need flavor young to judge if it has legs down the road for any aging to make it better. Maybe just a bad stick. Noted: last 2 inch was a lot of citrus flavors. The cigar was never harsh or any indication it was young. These two bad boys that I have nice stock of are ready to smoke now !! Steady low to mid 90βs anytime of the day ! Smoke many of each and they never disappoint. Diplomaticos Excelencia EdiciΓ³n Regional Cuba DiplomΓ‘ticos Reserva Exclusiva EdiciΓ³n Regional Caribe Diplomaticos have had some of the tastiest RR I would say over All... H. Upmann Magnum 52 Magnum Year of the Tiger Med to just under full strength. Flavors Orange peel, rich sweet tobacco, leather, citrus, salted peanuts. What a wonderful cigar and this quality tobacco will age nicely and I believe it will get much better. Towards the last 2 inches it most definitely needs some nap time.10 points

The Partagas Serie E #2 is a cigar that Iβve looked forward to smoking for a few weeks, and one I highlighted in an earlier post where I anticipated enjoying it (and others) during the Fatherβs Day weekend. Yesterday I got the opportunity to do just that. This cigar is from a 3-pack of tubos, which I purchased in early May, and have been in the humidor since 5/9; the factory code info is provided in the post's header. Yesterday I had an afternoon call with my mentor, and decided that was the perfect time to light up. It was a sunny but windy 72 degrees in Los Angeles, so good cigar weather minus the wind gusts here and there. Cold draw Since it was my first time smoking an E2, I didnβt know its flavor profile or what to expect. On the cold draw I thought βHmmβ¦ this is nice and good, letβs see how this thing goes.β That is to say, I canβt remember anything distinct jumping out at me here. 1/3 So far itβs smoking nice. But in line with the cold draw, I canβt detect any discernible flavors. At this point, Iβm saying to myself βI like it, but itβs not knocking my socks off. I wonder what the hype is about.β 2/3 Some sweetness starts to creep in. Mild nuanced flavors that I canβt identify begin floating around at this point. Whatever is happening here is definitely different from the 1/3, but not in an abrupt or blunt way. Itβs kind of like steadily walking up a ramp/incline and then slowly realizing youβre a ways off the ground. As I continue to smoke through the 2/3, thereβs an aromatic/floral/potpourri/parfume thing going on, which has as much to do with mouth feel as taste. This is not at all off-putting, but rather inviting. Itβs as if someone intentionally put that note there to say βYou didnβt see that coming, huh?! Thereβs more.β Now thereβs a yummy aftertaste on my palette. Ok, at this point I see what people are talking about with the E2; I see why itβs a favorite for many. Whatever is happening at this point in the cigar is making me want to smoke it, and those like it, forever. 3/3 Love the plush, velvety smoke happening here. The cigar is fully awakened at this point, shining in all its glory. Flavors and tastes are coming in left and right, and I care not to pin them down but to enjoy them as they arrive. I went for a walk during point but had to stop and smoke because it was so good. So, so good. This is why we CC! Now Iβm nubbing it. Ah! A little burn on the finger due to misplaced nub grip, but thatβs par for the course for something this good. As you can see in the pics, the wrapper cracked and flaked a bit, but it wasnβt an issue at all. Iβm just getting over a cold so that may have affected what tastes I could identify with the E2. As an E2 first-timer, this certainly wonβt be my last time smoking this cigar. This cigar has it. Iβd like to revisit it with no cold, no wind, and more age.8 points

The battery alarm is set for 3:00 a.m. The red streetlight illuminates and his eyes glow! Just wait for your 4 year old to come screaming down the hallway and refusing to go back in her room. Ever. πΉ5 points

I have drunk coffee for so many years that like a great number of our members, I've evolved in my tastes to not taking it with milk or sugar a long time ago. As a result of that, I have developed a greater tolerance to drinking coffee with cigars, as I normally do. So to answer the question...I can take coffee with literally any cigar. In essence, that's not a very helpful answer but I would hazard to guess that some of you reading this can relate to my predicament!3 points
