Popular Post Greenhorn2 Posted April 24 Popular Post Posted April 24 Had to make a trip to the neighborhood cigar store, to much swill and too many Cubans at the beach yesterday. The Fuente Double Chateau was kind of disappointing, one dimensional. The Fuente Fuente Opus X Double Corona is making up for it. 25

Popular Post Connoisseur Kim Posted April 26 Popular Post Posted April 26 Romeo y Julieta Exhibición No. 4 ABO JUL 19 PSP/HQ mix from our host 2 days ago to test a newly acquired Prince GB-2001 Piezo Micro Torch. While the Corona Extra was quite similar to my previous experience, it not only packed even more signature RyJ cherry, sour cherry, and rosewater notes but also pronounced other flavors including creamy biscuit and oat; baking spice and berry; a slight hint of hay, herbal, and honey; toasty nutmag; vegetal, vetiver and Upmann wood with intensity that didn't pop up back in the day thanks to 6 years of ageing and 60-62% RH storage. Although I had to relight several times due to high ambient humidity, it's happy to see this RyJ Ex4 keeps evolving as time goes by In regard to Prince GB-2001 Piezo Micro Torch, its flame was so big and powerful that it managed to light the cigar within 2 minutes which was way faster than my torch lighters that I have. Also, its large fuel fuel tank allowed me to use it for a long period of time without constant refill, and the body with a diamond textured grip made it comfortable to hold. The only problem was I needed to be even more careful during toasting cigars with it (its huge flame could scorch the wrapper if it's too close to cigars), but other than that, I was really satisfied with this tabletop cigar lighter (can't wait to experiment with its soft/torch flame conversion feature too). 👍 28
Popular Post Namisgr11 Posted April 26 Popular Post Posted April 26 Fuente Don Carlos #4. Sure, it's not especially complex, but it's mighty tasty and beautifully constructed for a sub-$10 smoke. 26
