My first RP ever, an ALR 2nd edition robusto which was a gift from a fellow botl.

Not bad I must say but I won't revisit, I can't get over the fact that those are more expensive here than JL2s 🧐

Which is why I always get a chuckle when I see the words “premium” and “Rocky Patel” used in the same sentence. 🤣 Truthfully, I have yet to smoke one of his offerings that I would want to revisit again. Do I respect what the man himself has done for the industry? Sure. On the other hand, I think his cigars are rubbish.

Quality vs quantity, Rocky. Quality vs quantity. Just like your suits. 😂

I recall hearing Rob (or was it Hamlet?? Probably both 🤔) say that Nicaraguan tobacco speaks too loud, and I must say it is my experience also. I could definitely recognise Nica tobacco but I couldn't identify a specific brand, maybe Padron but I've not had enough of those...

I like it just like I like eating fast food, once in a while.

Despite me being a so called Cuban Snob or whatever they call it these days, I would have no issues whatsoever strictly smoking Padróns for the rest of my life.

I never understood the Padron hype, haven’t smoked one I liked enough to inspire me to buy a box. Davidoff #2 is hands down my favourite NC, if I had better access they’d definitely replace some of my CC purchases.

‘04 Cohiba Sublimes EL 6 1/2 X 54 -  lots and lots of chocolate. One of the most densely cocoa forward cigars I’ve ever smoked. There are no classic Cohiba flavors here. Such a scrumptious 2 hours though.

From the moment I lit this No 95 Natural up, I had a feeling I was going to not finish it. But at that price point I said I gotta see it through. 

It got better but no where near what I was hoping for. God the pepper was insane and just straight woody and earth that felt like a mouthful of dirt. Padron is the master Maduro maker but no Naturals for me when it comes to Padron.
