‘03 Cohiba Siglo VI - from the first year these were available. I only smoke these on special occasions and this was the perfect capper for my final Father’s Day smoke. I love Siglo VI - easily my favorite Siglo. These OR are almost transcendental. Creamed honey & cardamom. Smooth as a baby’s bottom. OY!

Yep, I’m a little south and west of you in Prospect Heights. Went to DHS almost 50 years ago.

Ball buster of a week... Company opted for a "rip off the band-aid" mindset & did an all-in CRM switch from HubSpot to Microsoft Dynamics starting on Monday. It has been an unmitigated disaster with zero consideration given to a Plan B when shit doesn't work the way it's supposed to. Ended up in a dynamic akin to building the plane while flying it, with everyone in my office getting their stress level pushed to be max by the end of the week. Really needed this cigar by 5pm, and it delivered. 

JL2 from 2020 (can't find factory code). Cuban "twang" abounded, and I picked up that orange citrus/chocolate flavor hint that the more refined palates describe (that I usually never experience, LOL). Perfect draw & construction, and it finished with a soft toasted tobacco hint that meshed well with the Ranier Lager pints that pair with the cigar. Wish I had a box of these...
