Trinity Robusto last night. A really nice cigar and I’m not generally a Robusto fan. Not a lot of transitions but a smooth solid cigar that was very well balanced between sweet (dark old peaches)  and savory (green damp forest). SLR like to me. Maybe they have aging potential, but I’m good with these as is.

I got a lot of Esmeraldas when they first came out. I had 5 boxes of ARS OCT 19. The first box of these I smoked was outstanding, so I put the other 4 boxes at the bottom of my humidor and haven't touched them until today. This one is just as I remember it. I can't say that 4.5 years of age did much to the flavor, but on the bright side, the flavor was amazing to begin with, so, there's that.

Smoking an Esmeralda again today. Newer production than the one I smoked Sunday. Quite the difference. Still very good, but maybe a 90 vs a 96 for the ARS OCT 19.
