JPS72
Now that the weather has warmed up here (for a while at least) had a very enjoyable MUR JUL 12 RASS this afternoon accompanied by the Balvenie Single Barrel.
Lotusguy
Now that the weather has warmed up here (for a while at least) had a very enjoyable MUR JUL 12 RASS this afternoon accompanied by the Balvenie Single Barrel.] Which Single Barrel - the new rip-off 12Y version or the one that still had a reasonable value, the old 15Y? JPS72
Which Single Barrel - the new rip-off 12Y version or the one that still had a reasonable value, the old 15Y? Yes, this was the "real" Single Barrel - the 15y.

Lotusguy
Rather bad luck with a couple of machine mades (1991 La Corona Petit Corona which was plugged and 1992 Upmann Aromaticos(?) which turned extremely bitter at the halfway point). Then a decent Flor De Cano Selectos BD 1992 and lastly a RG Perla BD Sep 11 which was OK but had a bad burn. Guess it wasn't my day for smoking. I made up for it with some Whisky purchases

Lotusguy
Bought and finished a bottle of Glengoyne 17 a few weeks back with some friends. We all liked it, but felt that the price tag was unjustly inflated here in Quebec at $100. What were you able to nab it for? $49.99 - good value, especially since the 18y that replaced it costs at least $
