Bolivar Tubos no1 2015 from recent FOH auction. Smoked this one ROTT since I couldn’t wait… and I was not disappointed. Outstanding cigar, smooth yet palate coating. Buttery, nutmeg and allspice - almost like a Partagas, biscuit, prune, leather. Rich smoke and immaculate burn.

Protocol Elliot Ness Toro - I make it a point to try most everything I can that comes out of the La Zona factory, as whatever tobacco they use there seems very agreeable to me.

I think Protocol was started by some ex law enforcement so a lot of their blends are themed as such. The Elliot Ness is rich, spicy and leans to the dry & savory side.
