OCT ‘19 PLPC.

First PLPC. Aren't these supposed to have some power when young? This is near flavorless. Similar experience to a flavorless Magnum 46 from 2019 I had a few weeks ago. Starting to worry.

Edit- last half it came alive. But the first half just had nothing going on. Anyone else experience this?

I find that PLPC needs some time for the flavours to come together. Let them sleep for 5 years and then fire one up. A world of difference. Hope this helps.

Thanks! Yes I am aware that these are meant for aging and was by no means expecting a great experience. I just thought it was odd that the first half of the cigar was almost void of flavor. Good news is that it was beautifully constructed and did not require one touch up! Razor sharp.

Beautiful evening tonight with a Trinidad Fundadores ARS SEP 19, FOH PSP. Beautiful wrapper and construction but never really got going. Very mild, some flashes of really good in the middle... might be an aberration, but probably more rest needed.

Yesterday I had a TOS NOV 16 PLMC and TOS FEB 16 PLPC. I don’t have as many PLMC’s just due to the size not being one I enjoy as much. Both good but the PLPC was better with a lot more Caramel.




Earlier today I enjoyed a custom Robusto from Alex while watching a reply of yesterday’s launch. Good flavors and perfect construction and burn.


Picked up a couple of bottles of Cognac meant for pairing with with cigars. The cognac was originally blended with the help of Alejandro Robaina. So tonight I had a excellent MUR AGO 13 Bolivar Libertadores first with an Americano and then a glass of the cognac.

Cognac was very good considering I normally find the first glass from a new bottle of cognac or a premium rum is usually better after the bottle has been open for a month or so.

Agreed. I have some 2017 and they are smoking beautifully, full of that caramel flavor

Finally got back to my happy place for 4 hours yesterday.  The No 54 was just what the doctor ordered.
