FOH'ers Daily Smoke

Recommended Posts

Been toiling over steel pot and open fire better part of the afternoon now about ready to sit down for traditional Goulash soup with friends and family in Gunzburg, Germany. Absolutely Priceless!

2009 GER RE Boli 109's will be lit afterwards so stay tuned!

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Juan Lopez #2, a delightful little smoke from 08. Quite surprised how the JL marca flies under the radar so well. Hopefully these aren't put on a discontinuation list anytime soon.

They don't really fly under the radar lots here smoke them.

May do an 02 winston today not sure yet just had breakfast lol.

Now that's what I call a lunch smoke... Sancho Panza Sancho from 2000 :D

Unfortunately, just like the previous 6 from that box, a total disaster in terms of draw and flavor. Horrible. Prime example why those years have a bad reputation. The good news is that now I have only three left.

Had one from 00' last Saturday after the suckling pig and that box has been outstanding so I feel for you.

Have one left and hate to see it go away...

Bought them in Spain after the announcement that they were discontinued and they have been consistently good.

Ay, Cuba ....

Well my luck with tight/plugged cigars continues. Just tossed a 10 upmann 2 and an 11 d4. I can honestly say with my track record qc has not improved.

Very tight draw on both prevented hardly much smoke and enjoyment was nil so trashed both after an inch. Don't even feel like lighting up again pretty disgusted right now.

Prez you need to have a word with habanos.

'11 PLP- Perfect lunch smoke enjoyed under the trees

'11 BPC while walking the dogs. Too distracted with b.s. to enjoy it much

'11 RA Extra now on the deck. Perfect early fall weather. Now that I tapped in to this box I have a hard time staying out of it.

After that awful Sancho, I lit a Monte Purito since I was busy working on my laptop and didn't want anything that would require any attention and what do you know, it was actually not bad :o ugly wrapper but what do you expect.

Then I had a Punch Petit Coronation a/t from 2008 that was quite pleasant. After the day I've had, I will light up something nice tonight - we will see what strikes my fancy.

Smoking a Choix Supreme, back at the shop. Will report soon on adventures in smoking and being artificially poor while on vacation on Holbox Island soon. Some good pics and stories.

Fantastic RG Lonsdale from ABR 2002. Sickly greenish wrapper but oh so good!

At least I am having a nice cigar while waiting for a midnight conference call

Trinidad Robusto T (2009), another 'meh' experience from this GLP ABR 09 box. First third extremely boring, rest okay yet ultra linear...

And for what it's worth... the new Quintero Favoritas - not smoked yet

First a Monte Sublimes LE 2008. Fantastic smoke, leagues better than the Grand Edmundo I had the other day. Much closer to the creamy Monte profile :2thumbs: Are they worth the crazy price people are asking for them now? That's a different question...

Followed by an (always excellent) RG Slenderella from 1999.
