I have a terrible box of ESL Monte 1s Terrible terrible cigars. I've cut open 2 halfway through smoking, and they're full of luminous green camouflage tobacco.  Like what you've show here just a whole lot worse.  They were not bought from FOH may I add

I share your pain! But this is where I don't get it. Yesterday I smoked a Monte 1 ESL DIC 17 and it was one the best cigars I've had this year, and I was expecting another treat today before the weather goes downhill. What month and year were yours, if I may ask? I wonder if they might have been running out of good leaf by 2018.

I'll check tomorrow, but it would of been around that time.    It's just pointless, I would of preferred a box of Monte 1, that actually just had a 25 Monte 5s in there and a note saying:

"Sorry Mr, We thought you would prefer a really expensive/nice box of 5's, instead of sad box of lonsdales stuffed with lurid compost" 

utter garbage.

Cohiba Magicos (circa 2007 - thanks @Trevor2118)

This Cohiba Magicos, from 2007, hands down was the best Cohiba Maduro 5 cigar I've ever had thus far! The Magicos, critically-speaking, doesn't ever seem to quite match it amongst enthusiasts with its larger brother the Genios, and smaller brother, the Secretos, but this Petit Robusto, in my mind, more than matched any Genios or Secretos I've smoked in the past.

Gifted by @Trevor2118 (thank you kindly!), this had combined cream coffee, fine Swiss chocolate and honey flavours, succulent and classy, from beginning to end.

What this cigar proved to me today was that one should never write-off a marca or vitola. You never know when it will genuinely surprise you!

A couple good friends and I lit up some Sancho Panza lonsdales from 1982. It had little to no flavor on the cold draw but a lot of a woodsy mushroom-ey flavor. Surprisingly robust for such an aged cigar. Not totally something I crave again but without a doubt a very unique cigar. Never had anything similar.

NC. Not even sure how to pronounce it but pretty good and complex. Spicy cream, leather, and wood. Little twang in the beginning. I prefer Cubans but they just don’t do well on car rides with some breeze in the car. Construction usually fails.

An Alex custom roll that I was gifted by him this past weekend. I’m guessing is a 58 RG x 6,5” stick. Very nice initial flavor profile with a little sweetness and spice as I get through the first third.
