Should I buy 2 boxes of Monte 2, the Fudadores or the CORO. I have just over $1300 in the cigar kitty before the Mrs tees off on me"

50 of the finest stout pairing cigars ever made please and thank you. I’ve found recent years (say ‘21 onwards) a complete standout in my rotation - and definitely a notch above prior years. And without doing the maths, they feel like the best value from some bad value options here.

Assuming he’s a noob (otherwise he’d know what he prefers or what needs stocking up), I’ll advise purely on price and availability: Best pricing there is CORO followed by Fundy. Hardest to come by, by far, is Fundy (Monte 2 easiest to source atm *). If I were him, Fundy was my pick.

That is CRAZY pricing for 24 Fundy, haven't seen them under $1700 in a while. I'd buy 3 boxes immediately if I could find them for $1100. Heck I just bought 24 Coloniales for $750 on 24:24 and I think that's a great price too.

Some solid pricing all around! If it was me, I would likely take a look at the CoRo. I'd ask to open the cab and see the box code (and hope for an EL code). If they didn't wow me, I'd almost certainly go the 50 M2 route and let them age. 

The fundies, while a great price, would likely be my last choice. Trini has just never been a big part of my rotation; when I do smoke them I tend to really enjoy them but the new pricing structure has made it so I will never totally buy in. (I wish I could say the same with Cohiba honestly 😩)

Very tough! Monte for the ability to trade and move post purchase. Also volume of an all time classic. Fundis for rarity, the show piece, impeccable cigar. But in absence of variety, what’s the point?

Coro is my choice, for the pure joy to smoke and hold and at a great price. 

Buy them all?
