El Presidente Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 EAR = Email Assistance Required. Whatsapp overnight. "Rob, I am in baltic cigar store and am seeing legit Monte 2's for 550 euro /645 USD, Trinidad Fundadores for 950 euro /1100 USD, and Cohiba Robusto for 1150 euro/1350 USD. All 24 stock. Should I buy 2 boxes of Monte 2, the Fudadores or the CORO. I have just over $1300 in the cigar kitty before the Mrs tees off on me" Your advice good people? 3
Popular Post LaoFan Posted October 1, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 1, 2025 At that price, Fundy's all day. 6
Popular Post MagicalBikeRide Posted October 1, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 1, 2025 50 of the finest stout pairing cigars ever made please and thank you. I’ve found recent years (say ‘21 onwards) a complete standout in my rotation - and definitely a notch above prior years. And without doing the maths, they feel like the best value from some bad value options here. 9
Popular Post Fugu Posted October 1, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 1, 2025 Assuming he’s a noob (otherwise he’d know what he prefers or what needs stocking up), I’ll advise purely on price and availability: Best pricing there is CORO followed by Fundy. Hardest to come by, by far, is Fundy (Monte 2 easiest to source atm *). If I were him, Fundy was my pick. * edit: at that price I should say (easiest to source CORO) 5
Çnote Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 Maybe I'm wrong but isn't this either 50 cigars, 25 cigars, or 24 cigars? 2

Grimlock Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 Easy one here. Just explain you are really bad at math, that's how you ended up with the CORO and the Fundys!

rcarlson Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Tough call. I would go Fundies. Decent price; hard to come by. 1

Ford2112 Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 I am picking 50 Monte 2 at that price. Can always trade some away for other goodies. 1
JohnS Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 I'd take the 50 Montes. In years to come, you'd be glad to have more Habanos cigars in your humidor. 3
smashed Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 That is CRAZY pricing for 24 Fundy, haven't seen them under $1700 in a while. I'd buy 3 boxes immediately if I could find them for $1100. Heck I just bought 24 Coloniales for $750 on 24:24 and I think that's a great price too.
SonGoku Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Disclaimer, I’m divorced so you might want to take that into account 😁 Get a box of each and sleep on the couch for a couple of days 😄 1
Wookie Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 How many of those Fundies will be plugged? Go with the Montes. 3
gormag38 Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Some solid pricing all around! If it was me, I would likely take a look at the CoRo. I'd ask to open the cab and see the box code (and hope for an EL code). If they didn't wow me, I'd almost certainly go the 50 M2 route and let them age. The fundies, while a great price, would likely be my last choice. Trini has just never been a big part of my rotation; when I do smoke them I tend to really enjoy them but the new pricing structure has made it so I will never totally buy in. (I wish I could say the same with Cohiba honestly 😩)
Fuzz AI Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 "But honey, when I bought 2 boxes, they gave me a great discount! Frankly, I saved us money..." 2 boxes on Montes will keep you company longer in the doghouse than 24 Funis or 25 CoRos. 2
PuroDiario Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 Very tough! Monte for the ability to trade and move post purchase. Also volume of an all time classic. Fundis for rarity, the show piece, impeccable cigar. But in absence of variety, what’s the point? Coro is my choice, for the pure joy to smoke and hold and at a great price. Buy them all? 1
