'17 MC#1 on new year’s day.

I visited with some high school friends last week. Four students and a teacher who met in 1974 rendezvoused in Fort Lauderdale for a few days. Smoking a cigar with that particular teacher is a 100 point cigar any day of the week even if it is one of his 3$ Long Island cigar shop specials.

How was the Corta Suave blend? Have not seen any reviews yet.

Smooth throughout. Up till half way, plenty aroma and flavour and creamy with a touch of sweetness. But then basically it quickly tailed off to just.... Leaves. Was ROTT will leave the rest to acclimatize and see. But the first half was really nice.

2024 Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure No. 3. I don’t remember the last time a fresh Cuban was as good as the Hoyo is / was. I’ve smoked 11 this year and they have all been on the nuts!

Pretty short list this year but so far a Siglo II from 2021. Outstanding. Mild to medium but packed with flavour - vanilla cream bomb. First from a new box and I hope the rest are like it. Easy 94/95 points.
