Campanas

Campanas (3/5)

  1. Excellent cigar! Full bodied, toast, nuts over 30 minutes.
  2. I just got the sovereign suns this morning, and I’m really looking forward to trying one tonight! Thank goodness for Fabrica05, I think around 90% of the cigars I’ve smoked over the last 2 years are the Nudies and MOFOH.
  3. Josie is the name of my 1967 mustang convertible.
  4. Hope you had a great day!
  5. Romeo Y Julieta Churchill and a sambuca
  6. Standouts for me so far are a 2023 Bolivar Royal Corona, a Nudie Queen Corona, and a Nudie Petit Corona.
  7. Rob, when are the Churchills going to be back in stock?
  8. My least favorite of all the Nudies, and I’ve tried them all. Very mild and bland with just the slightest hint of sweetness, and that’s about it. I’ve tried them OTT, after 30 days, and after 3 months, and for me there’s no difference. It’s way too big of a cigar to be so mild.
  9. Just got a 5 pack of these, and while 4 will rest for at least a month, I smoked one ROTT. Perfect draw, rich, leather, and a slight touch of sweetness. I love it!
  10. I just received these last night for the second go around. I have been dabbling in 25 bundles of the Nudie Ninfas, Lanceros, Cañonazos, and Queen Coronas, and I love the Desnudo line so much that 90% of the cigars I’ve smoked in the the last 3 months (daily smoker) have been Nudies. With that being said, since I knew they would arrive yesterday, I wanted to compare the N4 with a one year old Monte 4, which is my favorite Cuban PC. Not really fair since the Monte has a year’s age on it, while the N4 has a few days’ age on it 😂? I smoked the Monte 4 the night before last, and it had the typical Cuban tight draw that I have become accustomed to over the years (my draw poker gets a workout on at least 70% of the Cubans and only once out of around 150 Desnudo cigars), and it was average at best with typical medium bodied flavors I’m familiar with. The Desnudo N4 on the other hand had a perfect draw with a ton of smoke. Perfect construction and burn, with a medium-medium full body and flavors of dark chocolate and coffee. It reminded me of the old Monte 4’s I used to smoke in the early to mid 90’s. Granted it was a little rough being that it literally just arrived 15 minutes before I lit it, but already it scored higher the Monte 4. Thanks, Rob and Hamlet for a spectacular line of cigars, and I can’t wait to see what else you guys come up with.
  11. I really like the Toscanos. My next door neighbor in Italy used to be a roller at the factory in Lucca, Italy.
  12. I bought a 5 pack a few weeks ago and have had 3 so far. They are SPECTACULAR. Medium bodied, creamy, graham cracker with a bit of spice. For such a small ring gauge, they have a perfect draw. Tons of smoke with perfect resistance. You can tell some experienced rollers rolled these. I loved them so much a bought a bundle of 50. Well done, Rob and Hamlet.
  13. My wife and I were in Singapore last month, and on the way out, at Changi Airport, I went to a few duty free shops looking for some Cuban cigars to bring home. None of the shops had any except for one. I asked if they had Cuban cigars, and they said YES!, over this way. I walked into the walk-in humidor and I saw rows and rows of Cuban cigarillos. 🤨 I asked if that was all the Cubans they had, and that was it. They hadn’t been able to get anything else.
  14. Just got mine about 30 minutes ago. I’ll fire one up tonight after dinner and report back.
  15. I just ordered a bundle yesterday. I’ve been smoking different Nudies pretty much exclusively for a month now, and they have been exceptional, I’m excited for these!
