My sincere and deepest condolences to you @IslandboyHaving lived in California and experienced the fires I know how awful and tragic it can be.

Your sense of loss and grief are very natural emotions. Do not hesitate for a moment to post what is on your mind, it will help you to navigate through this tragedy. Talk about your friend and the memories you have of him.
