Tinker with the boat = drink beer lol

Daughter has fight team training tonight and a karate tourney tomorrow. I love tournaments!! Our association is hosting Nationals and the World Championships, so the practice is great 👍

Off to Vegas on Sunday for a conference,  so that should be interesting 😆

Cheers!

Have some gardening to do. We just put in some rose trees and they're already blooming, but we need more. Otherwise, the weather is glorious and I intend to smoke a few cigars from my favorite supplier.

I need to live somewhere I can tinker with a boat.

Currently hanging with the dogs, a D4, and wrapping a work project while listening to fox mating season in the near distance.

Then just chipping away at an endless diy home theater project / basement reno I managed to get myself into.  Perhaps get a few workouts in if I’m lucky.

New battery for my farm tractor since my SIL thinks it is illegal for him to purchase and install one. 😒 He can't hurt the thing. I'm not painting it until the fall anyway.🤷

Go brick shopping for the new house.

Start my reviews from the poll cigars with some Weller, Buffalo Trace and Blanton's. Yes, tomorrow night will suck but I'll tough it out somehow. 😂

And of course, my obligatory fire pit. 😬

I am going to do a review today since it is so nice.  Definitely going to have some Blanton's and maybe some Kentucky Owl Confiscated.    I will be crossing my fingers on Sunday they are drawing for line spots in a allocated bourbon release.   The bottle I really want is George T Stagg.

Good weekend ahead :D

What's up for the weekend?

Is the 12km treadmill or hard deck ?

💪Problem I have is that it takes 5 kms for me to warm up. We have to do an early morning walk in May

Meeting up with a former member of FoH for a tasting of smokes, and other things.  He has an enormous humi,  many very old smokes dating back to the 50s that i know of. Maybe older. It should be an event of epic proportions.  I will have a report if anything is re-portable.   As if! 😄

Why a former member ???? Too bad.

@helixYeh, well I may have fixed that.  He hasn't been on in several years, I encouraged a comeback, he tried his username/pswd and it worked so he's back.  😃

And I will share my smokes on Daily Smokes tomorrow.

Thanks for asking.

Repainting our basement.  Recently freed up some space in our cellar and first chance to paint a few walls.  I cannot believe how expensive paint is.  Regular good paint is $50 a gallon and fancy stuff is $100!  Two gallon project.

You know, think how deplorable the situations is when one must forego a purchase of need, like smokes, to afford to paint a room. Is our economy in that poor of shape or has greed taken such effect that businesses can use the current rate of inflation to justify a 50%+ hike in their product? 😑

Hope y'all had the weekend to do what you needed or just enjoy.

Mine started with Friday cigars. Then. To prove my life isn't all Instagram loveliness. An ambulance and eye hospital were involved. Two people. Two hospitals. Unplanned. Nothing permanent luckily and not me. My knees are getting older though by the feel of them lol

Health and happiness people. Smoke em if you got em.

Work

Looks like a great plan! My plan for this is weekend to spend as much time with my family as possible , watch couple of movies and buy victoza online for my dad. For the last couple of days he has difficulties controlling his sugar level and hopefully the medication will help him with that. I am going to see my parents on Sunday evening for dinner somewhere and that will be a great end to the weekend.
