I read the post and it doesn't surprise me but that might be because I've sadly been desensitized due to shootings and other violence being an everyday occurrence here in Los Angeles. We have a lot of follow home robberies, groups targeting people in wealthy locations, gang violence, mentally ill homeless / drug addicts getting ahold of weapons while having episodes, etc. I've encountered several unsavory characters out here, chased off a few people attempting to rob my residence, scared off a few attempting to break into my neighbors, intervened in an attempted robbery/assault and successfully restrained one of the suspects, etc. I always make sure to have certain things on my person to protect myself and others. It's sad that the area and many others have come to be this way.  I hope something like this never happens to anyone else.

Absolutely correct. I'm not saying a 22 can't kill you. I've seen 22 rounds from rifles kill people in fact. I was sharing an observation that a pistol fired 22 round can and often does ricochet off of bone. Not trying to take away from @BoliDan or minimize anything. It was a response to someone else who said they read about a similar ricochet in the 80s

Same lol, also had the back end of a .22 blow out as it shot, peppered my arm in burnt gunpowder. I thought the gun blew up. 😳

I remember reading about the Mossad using the .22 pretty effectively in the 70's... I guess they use 9mm these days. That being said... hope you feel better @BoliDan
