Whats up for the weekend?

We tied one on yesterday.......celebration weekend started early.  

Hangover this morning followed by Long Lunch at with Di at French restaurant Bisou Bisou. Looking forward to it.

Sunday family lunch (14 of us) at Billys Bamboo for their famous Peking Duck.

I will make today my gym rest day.

Brining, confiting, and then deep frying wing with three different sauces.  

Making 1000 layer potatoes. 

Sloppy Joes, just because not everything needs to above and beyond.

Have my P&C Insurance exam coming up. Pretty burned out on studying for it but need to do some more on certain sections I will do Sunday b4 Superbowl. Tomorrow early morning workout, grocery store and college hoops. May have to get some Kansas City Bbq for SB.

Heading from way up here in Canada to Southern California tomorrow for some warmer fresh air. North of San Diego.

Having a blast in Macau with wife and son until Valentine's Day. Got Fernando’s and Antonio’s lined up for authentic Portuguese cuisine. Happy weekend FOH!

Flying home from the Florida Keys today. Spent 10 beautiful days here and before that 5 weeks in Playa Del Carmen. Haven’t been home since 2 days after Christmas.

Couple of trail runs and few sticks as reward is my weekend.

Friday morning started off with what appeard to be a leaking fridge.  Cleaned up the puddle and the coils.  This was followed by the florescent light (2 of the long slender type) failing in the kitchen.  Sigh.  Got the ladder out and new bulbs.  Why in God's name do they have to make these fixtures such a PITA!    Hope it will be quiet until the Stupor Bowl on Sunday.  Wife is whipping up a batch of chilli.

Very busy weekend (I say somewhat joking). I take my chili pretty seriously, only do it once/twice a year usually around Superbowl/playoffs. Doing it with all oxtail and short rib this time so will take some extra time. Should have that in the oven by early afternoon so it’s ready for game time tomorrow. 

Also have my best buddy I grew up with coming down to Florida with his family on Wednesday and we’ll fish nonstop for 4 days so I need to prep for that. Filling the bait pens, tying flies, getting everything ready. The goal is to get my buddy a “slam”: snook, tarpon, redfish, and seatrout on the trip. I think our odds are pretty good this week with a little luck and some good casting! 

That and some good cigars.

Watching UFC tonight pulling hard for volkanovski but I think Islam may be just to big, volk is tough as nails though.

Not really pulling for either team in the Super Bowl hopefully it’s an entertaining game

Wife's mom had cancer surgery yesterday, that woman is tough as nails, she's 95 years old. Came out of recovery and first thing out of her mouth is where are we going to eat? Got to get her back to the nursing home today whenever the hospital releases her. After that, I'm game for whatever.
