Popular Post cigaraholic Posted January 14, 2023 Popular Post Posted January 14, 2023 There are maybe a handful of cigars I can remember the first one I smoked, I remember this one. I smoked this one literally in my woodshed, it was raining and I didn’t smoke cigars in the house when my wife was alive. I remember thinking it was so smooth and delicious it would be a great morning cigar with a mocha. Then I hit the last third, Attila the Hon couldn’t smoke these in the morning. Over the 15 years I’ve smoked these it’s always been the same, first 2/3 are a smooth delicious ride, last third buckle up and pull hard on the belts. When I came back in the house my wife took a couple of sniffs and said wow, that smells like on hell of a cigar. It’s a solid, well filled cigar with a smooth maduro wrapper. Perfect cuban draw with a deep earthy tobacco flavor. Opens with flavors of earth, chocolate and pastry. It’s so delicious I don’t want this cigar to change, I’d love an hour and a half of this. It’s a truffle chocolate croissant 🌈 In the middle the chocolate goes from dark to milk and a cinnamon spice joins the pastry party. Body has been a little under medium full the hole way. Then I take a puff and know I better get some sugar, the body just hit the rev limiter, I need some chocolate and a cup of coffee. It’s all bittersweet chocolate, forest floor and espresso now, the pastry is gone. The coffee and chocolate I’m having and the espresso and chocolate of the cigar are perfect together. The sugar in the chocolate is saving me from taking a standing 8 count. 15 years and this cigar hasn’t aged a day, I think it will out live me. 8
Edicion Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 I might have missed it somewhere, but it's difficult to guess without knowing the size or vitola. Sounds like something close to a Bolivar but hard to know.
gormag38 Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 My first thought was Bolivar Corona Gigantes. Although it’s hard to tell if the cigar is that big in the picture. I’ll stick with it though !
cigaraholic Posted January 17, 2023 Author Posted January 17, 2023 Didn’t give the vitola, though that and the year would make it a no brainer. Trinidad Ingenios 1
