Are there any low production cigar accessory artisans left in the world today?

20 years ago there were plenty of passionista cigar accessory artisans who were making everything from exotic leather cases,  humidors, ashtrays, cutters, stands, clothing (smoking caps etal). Today there appears to be very few remaining. 

Iet's track down and celebrate those true cigar artisans.  Sigle operators or mum and dad businesses doing beautiful cigar accessory work be they town local or international... be they $50 or $50000. 

Usine your research skills and post up a few photo's and a link or story/detail  and go into the draw for a 5 pack of Cohiba.

I'm not too sure if these people are still going.  seems like they were called   'Paul CSP Coria at 'Cigar Cultro'    they were selling through HOG.   I was very tempted to buy this 'green vegetable fibre handled knife/cigar stand.         Not sure if they are still going.

It is unbelievable with what they do with what they have. Love their quality and craftsmanship. A number of years ago a group of us went there and got to see the whole operation with @Nino  It was one of the best excursions I’ve gone in in Havana.

There is a guy in SC who is a woodworker and has done a series of humidors and ashtrays recently focused on Wu-Tang. They came out looking outstanding in my opinion.

There’s a hand engraver I came across who does beautiful Xikar cutters. Unfortunately these are well outside my price range…but I appreciate the craftsmanship nonetheless.

I’m still making Smokin’ Cat Approved cigar rests in various metals and upcycled auto parts ashtrays which are fully machined and not welded into heavy piles of scrap. Second half of 2021 tried to do me in, but I made it.  And I definitely consider myself “low volume”.  No CNC here. Just manual machines and hand finished products.  I am currently awaiting the final approval and registration of my trademark which has now taken over a year. Fingers crossed it doesn’t take much longer…

From what I recall there’s a video on her Instagram where she’s using what appears to be some kind of microscope to do her engravings. She must have freakishly steady hands.
