Popular Post El Presidente
We were talking about vitola's/sizes for the next line of Nudes/Desnudo and the toss up was between celestials finos and drop head corona gorda. That was all a couple of months back. A few things have changed. We have nailed a Dalia. Like "nailed" it. Something to look forward to mid year. The other one we have been toying with is a hybrid. the blend is looking bloody promising but they have been put away to try again at 30/60/90 days. What we like today can taste very different in 30/60 days. Picture it. 47 gauge X 6 inches drop head. Essentially a Churchill gauge X a Siglo VI length. Think of a Petit 109. Well not really as it is 47 gauge as opposed to a 50. We are doing blends in both 47 and 50. The 47 is currently superior. You wouldn't think it would make that much of a difference would you. When I look for a larger cigar that I would smoke regularly, this is in my sweet spot/wheelhouse. Thoughts? on the Petit 109 6 X 47 /50
Monterey
Love the 47 ring gauge. Churchill is my favorite size. Would prefer the full 7 inches, but would love to see a 6 x 47. Churchills are just so rare in Cuban these days. Would love to have another cigar in the churchill size.

I love a Churchill as well but it is still a special occasion cigar for me. I don't know why but that extra length just pushes it outside of the realm of an "everyday" cigar That is just me but the whole brief of this Nudie/Desnudo concept is " Make everyday cigars that we love to smoke"

riderpride
Close to a CG, so I'm all for the 47rg. Also definitely down with a dalia.

Smatthews607
Petite 109 should awesome! I am all for it. I love Churchills, but this sounds a little more accessible for more occasions.

Pharmacovigilant
Count me in for the Petite 109… or a Dalia or Cazie being among my favorites. How about a Tacos? — 6.25 x 47 only in a perfecto. Sorry, Just thinking outside the box.
B44
Think I’m going to buck the herd on this one, and as Prez pointed out, one of the underlying goals of this initiative is to create everyday sticks that we wouldn’t necessarily have every day. With that said, I can’t think of any celestialsfinos that I have on hand besides the Sancho Panzas. Here’s my vote for the CF.
Fuzz
6 x 47 Petit 109 sounds great. Now the question is, have you found quality seco yet?
Popular Post NSXCIGAR
I think a Dalias or Cazadores is certainly in order. Cervantes or Coronas Grandes at the very least. Or you could create a "Lonsdale Extra/Super Lonsdale/Lonsdale Especial" 42 x 170+!

I’d personally prefer the 47 rg but perhaps 50 rg provides more variety if a Dalias is being added.
Ites
For me I think both sizes would end up being special occasion cigars. Haven't had a Dalia but considering the length of it I'm hesitant. I usually spend somewhere between an hour to an hour and a half on the usual petit corona/marevas. As for 47 ring gauge, that's out of my league. I keep a few 46RG on hand for special occasions but otherwise stay away from anything that wide. I get the idea of adding some variety to the line-up though!

ChanceSchmerr
I buy. You had me at 109. Then lost me at Petit. Then had me again at 47 RG. What wrapper shade have you been testing with it? A nice rosado would be perfect!

GaryK 54
Always in for a Dalia. Coronas Grandes or Cazadores. Elegant cigars that feel great in the hand.
