Just curious to see how all of you humidify their cigars?

I currently use boveda packs in my tupperdores. Thinking of moving into a more active system with maybe a couple bovedas tossed in if I move to cabinet style humidor.

With 4 humidors....

Winston (cabinet humi) uses an oasis

JFK (desktop) uses a baby adorini with a couple bovedas

Groucho (wineador) just uses kitty litter (a couple of mini fans for circulation)

Arnold (tower humi) uses oasis with extra fans bovedas and gel thingies

All hold steady at 65/66%

Regular humidor has an Oasis

Two tupperdores - one is boveda packs and the other heartfelt beads.

After using beads and boveda packs for years I'd never buy another oasis.

I've always used a fairly simple setup that is heartfelt beads in a large cooler.   I've never had an issue keeping my temps (68F) and humidity (60-62%) relatively stable .  At least that I have noticed.

bovedas all day? in my 400ct and 700ct wineadors

i get more then i need and keep them on a rotation, pulling the bovedas getting low to be recharged in a tupperware with a glass of water and replacing them with the newly recharged packs

I use the big Boveda 62s in large tupperdors, a whynter 300, and a newair 400.  As the Bovedas dry out, I recharge them.  I also keep a couple 62s half dried out to bring humidity down if necessary.  All of my storage units hold humidity very well between 61-63 since I monitor them and shuffle Bovedas as necessary regularly.

Ya'll spending too much money on Bovedas if that's the only thing you're using.

Try using beads *and* Bovedas in the same space.  Add distilled water on the beads when the Bovedas just start to get a bit firm.  Basically use the Bovedas as your indicator, but the distilled water on the beads does the heavy lifting of active humidifying.  Your Bovedas will last forever this way, and no need to keep buying new ones.

Although if you have more money than time, then Bovedas are a nice set-it-and-forget-it method.

Same here. I have an oasis and never could get it to work flawlessly. The day I got my wineador I went with 60% heartfelt beads and set up a coolerdor with boveda and everything has been consistent since. Plus no power cord to manage or fan to keep clear.

I moved to beads in my Aristocrat.

Since both of my cabinets are packed, I removed one of the humidifiers, so each has only one(gives me room for another 50 cab ?). Works great for me, humidity remains constant and rarely have to add water.

The more packed the container, the less you need. That’s my hypothesis.

I have been using Heartfelt beads in my humidors for more than 10 years. I just recently seasoned a desktop with Boveda packs and have the 65% packs prepared for when the seasoning is done. I am interested to run a comparison between the beads and Bovedas with the same smokes.
