My only problem is, to open or not to open? That is the question!

Open it and smoke them. But give it a year, huh?

I definitely did not need these, but I came across a sale that was too good to pass up.

Now, can I stop at just one? ?

Good luck with that. I couldn’t. ?

The lure of having one box to smoke through is almost as great as the lure of tasting a box of these 5 or so years down the line. I’m hoping  to experience both.

Viewing this thread always fills me with such aesthetic delight and tantalized envy.  No matter how many I buy I always want more/other/all.  I want to have my cake and eat it too--smoke them all and keep them all--preserve them in their pristine sublimity and defile them all with fire.  Whoops... getting worked up again... better go smoke one

Finally some cigars... Brought back by my cousin who went to Cuba. I didn't get what I wanted but I got twice as much, so I can't complain. Especially considering I can't even remember when I smoked last.
They also gave me some farm rolls that look terrible but I am sure will smoke great.
Anyone know what factories GOM and MSA are?

No idea regarding the box code but I smoked some farm rolls this summer and they're in my top 3 smokes for the year.

I freeze both separately, then leave them out in the humidor for about a month outside the box, while I also keep the box in the humidor, so that they don't dry out, then I put them back in. For some reason to leaving them separate for a while to sort of air out makes them taste better... Could be just a weird OCD tick, but I do enjoy them more. They seem less harsh.

Glad to hear it, here's hoping...

I also bought a box like this, and recently decided to try one.  Very nice mild/medium cigar with a vanilla bean character.  While these paper cartons seem to be unpopular for aging cigars, I've had many great cigars from them!
