I don’t know if this necessarily is true. I was at Old Havana Cigars in Grand Cayman in January. They had both Behike and Espi in stock, and they were not price gouging on either. Also a new LCDH opened down the road from work and has some nice old LE like the Trinidad Topez but 44eur Stick not sure if to get or not please advise all! They also have a good smoking lounge best i have seen in the area! Also they have a few RE to try! I'm not sure where you purchased yours from(don't care) but I know of a website that currently has both, doesn't price gouge, and they definitely don't sell fakes...
