Sandman Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 Smoking another. These are so rich, so much substance in this cigar. Highly recommended! 2
joey rockets Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 This is a handsome cigar in a good looking box but the ring gauge is a mouthful and I would pass it by before even noting the price.

Cubadust Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 They're $65 a stick here in Sweden... The Talisman is 50 for compersion. I usually buy one stick of every new cigar I come across, but for 65? Yeah, no.

To base a solid opinion on a cigar. Some would say more, some less. 3-5 minimum though for sure 1

Acquaintance of mine bought one for $2800 recently. I personally just want the empty jar for my collection and try a single stick.
dowjr1 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 This may be blasphemy, but sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Some people have more money than sense. Others have a lot of money because they have a lot of sense. I don’t mind dropping some coin on a desirable box. But that price is not of interest to me. 1
gorob23 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 I bet it would be interesting to go through that locker .. 2

No emails/PM's please. Very nice presentation. It is not for rme but I can understand the attraction. Good numbers. Prez, I was blessed to have won a box (which arrived recently). Again, thank you so much for the extraordinary prize. Curious if you (or anyone else) has sampled the Maravillas and what I should expect (it will be quite a while before I find out). I assume that when you said "not for me" you were referring to presentation rather than performance. If I'm mistaken, could you describe the cigar for me? There's almost nothing on the interwebs that describes the stick.

I agree 100 percent. You see this with a lot of high end luxury products. At the very top end you get a lot of diminishing returns for the extra money. I find it wasteful. I know we are supposed to take a live and let live attitude but I cant help but wonder whether the money couldn't do more good if spent or donated elsewhere.

But I'm with you on diminishing returns at the high end luxury spectrum, at least for me. For those with a lot more disposable income (or less financial obligation), are the returns really diminishing?
