What's up for the weekend?

It screams beach weather and I hope to get there Sunday morning.

Movies (Joker) and dinner (Moda) tomorrow night.   Some light work saturday. 

Popped in to have lunch with mum and dad just now. They have forgotten and are likely at the Casino.  I know where I stand

Toasty conditions down there in SEQ.

My weekend will consist of Friday night stout beer and cigar pairing. Saturday morning family fun run, followed by a nice lunch to recuperate.

On the way to the airport right now for a close friend's beach wedding in Phuket. We damn near booked out the entire resort! 5 days of booze, snooze, and of course, cigars.

After 15 years of recreational shooting and hunting, I recently decided I would have a crack at competition. On Sunday I am going to be competing for the first time, in a field class 200/300 yard target shooting event for centrefire rifle. Sunday evening following this will be perfect for a cigar along with a few beers.

Dinner with friends at Automata tomorrow night. Probably do some work around the house on Sunday.

After two month at work in Europe I’m finally back home with the family in Japan. Now I’ve got four weeks to convince my wife that we have to move to Europe/Spain next spring. Japan is nice but quality of life on Mallorca just can’t be beat!

This weekend will be spend with the kids & wife, visiting the in laws tomorrow. On Sunday we’ll head over to friends for an ‘end of season’ bbq.

Kids are coming over tonight for Margaritas and Mexican food. Sunday I will go to get my conceal and carry license. I’m not planning on carrying but we will start target shooting for a hobby.

Finish work early ish today. Travel to pick up my son for the weekend. Get him some clothes for an upcoming wedding. Make some nice food, order take-away, drink some good stuff.

Other than that it's work. I have to finish/prepare the 2020 budget, current project review slidepack, 2020 headcount projection and technology roadmap prior to, and packing for, flying to our annual strategy meeting in Ottawa next week. 

I will try to fit in a Nemesis review. I have the perfect cigar.

I was supposed to get off of work at 6pm but a dog decided to bite me so now I’m waiting for the tray full of needles. On top of that I still have a two and a half hour commute home to look forward too. I brought a RJ Short Churchill so I’ll entertain myself with that on the way home.

Packing and prepping for the Cuba trip next weekend. Of course I have to fly to DC Monday until Thursday so have to be ready to go when I get home as I'll have little time then.

According to @Ken Gargett ... in Cuba they use a fine Monte C for anti rabies medication. Unfortunately, for it to be effective, you must smoke 2 sequentiality without pause.. ?

Good to hear about you guys picking up target shooting. I’ve been thinking about returning to shooting myself. Was quite into competition trap shooting for about 10 years. When my kids (triplets) were born that pretty much killed my hobbies. Now that they are almost 12, I think it’s time to take them. We also have a practical steel plate range that is ridiculously fun for pistols. Maybe I could put a dent in the 30k rounds I have in the garage

Toured Flagler's Ponce de Leon hotel (now Flagler College) in St Augustine this weekend. Tiffany, Maynard and Mizner designed/made this place. As nice as the fancy European palaces. Can't believe he built this place in Jacksonville FL.
