El Presidente Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 The Modern Classic Car/Bike you would like in your garage? Yep, this was another recent deck discussion After much argument, it was decided that modern classic is a car/motorbike after 1980. Think about it, google a pic and post up. If you actually have one in your garage...you can use that pic.

Popular Post Lant63 Posted August 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 28, 2019 Well I'm part of the way there. 2014 C4S is in the garage now. Absolutely love it. Espresso tan interior, glass sunroof, sport Chrono, manual transmission. Only two cars I would trade it for would be a 2018/9 911 GT3 with a tan interior (actually might not be an option) and painted arena red with a manual transmission. Or, a 993 turbo manual. Again, arena red on tan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 8
Popular Post HarveyBoulevard Posted August 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 28, 2019 Lotus Turbo Esprit from the 80's and a Harley Davidson Softail Springer from the same era... 7

Fuzz AI Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 But Rob, how do you define a modern classic? At what year do you cut off and say no younger than this? Can a car with less than 10 yrs (and possibly still in production) be considered a classic? Maybe as a future classic, but I can't see cars younger than 10 years, or still in production, as a classic car.
Popular Post Edward7 Posted August 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 28, 2019 I mean if I’m being realistic, a 964 3.6l Turbo or a 993 Turbo S. Bike - Desmosedici RR But honestly, if I can have anything from 1980 onwards in the car department, how could anyone choose any car other than a Papaya orange McLaren F1 LM. 5
kwsaw63 Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 Toyota MR2 Mk1. I used to own one back in 1989/90 when I was living in London. Sold it when I moved to Singapore and still kicking myself about it. Best handling car I’ve ever driven. Light, mid-engined and no power steering to dilute feedback through the wheel; it was the epitome of seat of the pants driving feel. 3
NSXCIGAR Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 After 1980...well, I could do a BMW Z1. Or a McLaren F1. Or a 911 GT2. Or a Ferrari F40. Also wouldn't mind a NSX-R of course.
Popular Post El Hoze Posted August 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 28, 2019 This should fit the bill....I am in the process of ordering one of these. Replica Shelby Cobra 427 built by Superformance. Have wanted one of these forever. Just had my first child and turned 40 so figured I can qualify this as a mid-life crisis purchase and be in the clear. 7 1
Colt45 Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 For car, 3rd generation Mazda RX7. So many great bikes, it's hard for me to choose. 4
Puros Y Vino Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 If money was no object. Porsche 959 (this car is perfection to me). Runner ups: Ferrari 288 GTO and a mid 2000's era Ford GT 4
