I've gone to the washroom during a dinner meeting to check 24:24 as well.

As I am on night shift currently, still in Afghanistan, I have no issue checking it at work. But when I go back stateside, it's going to be a wild card.

Practise hitting the refresh button for a good 10 to 15 minutes beforehand to warmup just in case this 24:24 had Quai d’Orsay or Cohiba!

Minus the carpoolers (I was alone,) I have found a parking place a few times while enroute.

Often set an alarm as well to remind myself.

Looks like pulling over at parking space or up the pavement for 24:24 is a common thing... I'm not the weird one after all...

After an initial period of excitement/FOMO a few years ago I settled down to accepting that 01:30 isn't always a good time to stay up to, especially as I generally get up at 04:30 for work. Occasional periods of insomnia become expensive, however there's a nice payoff when the cigars arrive a couple of weeks later.

Asking my two buddies I know who are also on the forums to text our group chat anytime they happen to know the time is coming to check. Putting alerts in my phone. The last time the la trovas were up, I got it by pre-typing out the email and constantly refreshing my phone while hiking runyon canyon with my fiancé and my husky and continuing the madness as I am walking through Whole Foods with her. She knows how good the deals are and when it’s time for me to replenish and is fairly cool about it. As long as I’m not cutting into the wedding haha
