What do you do on Labor Day?

So what does one do on a labor day Monday holiday ?

If weather permits we hit the neighborhood pool, then grill out for dinner. Usually many beers are consumed.

Sadly working.

In my youth, before my beautiful family, it was all about boats and beers.  Long days on the lake trying to attract the opposite sex.

Hit the gym. Doubles tennis. Cigar. Grill with grandkids. After dinner cigar. Perfect.

Kind of marks the end of summer.  If you’re rich you pack up and drive home from Lake Winnipesaukee. But I’ll be permanently in CAMP Winnipesaukee, so it means nothing to me. 

Even though I’m non-union I’ll still enjoy the day off though.  Go for a drive in the ‘37 (yes, it’s finally finished as of yesterday) and gear up for the football game later.

Smoked a brisket on Saturday. Today is family and drinking.

Feet up and enjoy a few cigars! Filled the smoker on sat with some great ribs, and had some friends over. Mad them a nice Cuban drink(canchanchara) they had never tried....and loved. And the weather ended up being perfect, even though it was supposed to rain.

Took one of our girls to the "Beauty Shop".  She is a pretty and silly girl who is now down for a nap. Love the bandana they put on her.

Other than that, we are going to the new Shake Shack that opened up near us.  There goes my diet....
