I found a nice red thread yesterday coming out of a VR Famoso. Beautiful contrast. Red thread on a near maduro cigar.

Anyone in QC could have missed it

I found a hair in a MUL JUL 15 Monte Edmundo two weeks ago.

A hair in an LEP Feb 16 Monte 1. Sticking right out of the foot, pre-light. A thick hair, probably canine. Either that or a girl I took out in high school moonlights at LEP.

That's funny, I have found red and yellow thread in more than one cuban cigar. I figured they were just threads that fall off of ribbons in the factory.

Two sticks from of a box of (underfilled) Flor de Cano Grandiosos had a load of what looked like blue fleece fibres rolled into the filler, one also had a few dyed blonde hairs in there for extra measure.

I've had the luck of a finger nail, white string, and a piece of fluff.  The finger nail was revolting.  ...couldn't smoke that one.  All were at the head of a Cuban cigar.

Bleh . . . talk about killing a guy's mood for a smoke! :cigar:

Now given that the best cigars are rolled on the thighs of cuban virgins, one would think there'd be more hair found.

Then again.....

Last month I found a very long piece of twine in an older RyJ Ex. No. 4. Month before that I found a string attached to a thick piece paper that read "E879" written in pencil. Also have found red and yellow ribbon in the past.

Nothing visual but I did "find" (taste) either candy or very sweet lip gloss one time for about 3 puffs.  It was literally like a candy cigar, then it was gone.  Clearly something was in there.  Whatever it was, it tasted damn good!

Boringly, the worst thing I have found in the past was the odd twig.

But then, I have been known to smoke a Villiger Kiel without removing the stalk of straw before lighting (OK, I was a few sheets to the wind at the time) so my judgement in this matter may be questionable....

Firecracker in a Smithy custom roll. Eyebrows grew back.

I put a load in one of my dad's cigars when I was a kid. He was not amused.

You guys are very lucky to get that added flavor and not being charged extra.

I must say I have a clean sheet when it comes to extras in my cigars.
