El Presidente Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 The best cigar you smoked in April?....ok last 30 days. for myself: Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure Number 2 from NOV 15 I didn't expect too much. Just one I picked up to check on how they were travelling. In my mind I can still taste it. Super sweet, creamy, mid bodied, coffee/Amaretto. If all HDM Epi 2 were like this.... there would be a stampede.
Cohiba007 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Mag 56 for me. And I had high expectations for the cigar. Well the cigar exceeded my expectations. Sooooo flavorful. I would smoke them all the time if it weren't for the size. Definitely will be smoking one this Saturday for th Kentucky derby though. Really a beautiful cigar.
MIKA27 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 For me it was the Dip Bushido. Celebrated my 40th Birthday with this one. Contrary to what some have said about this cigar being mellow and semi-dimensional, I love this profile so for me was great. 1
NicPac Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 From the hip? A PSP BCJ. Burnt my fingers nubbing that tasty smoke.
westg Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Mag 56...trying to hold off buying more ...that said probably up tomorrow 1
Tommyz Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Bolivar PC from 14. Had it at about 1:30am after finishing up a major paper for a class. It was a perfect cigar for the time I had, and it calmed me down after a stressful couple of days. That's the one that stands out to me.
dvickery Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Partagas ... tres petit corona Furthering my belief the '97/'98 has now transcended to whatever comes after great . Derrek 2
HavanaSunday Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 07 HdM petit robusto. If only it were a DC.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
skalls Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 El morro from December 2012 was the stand out winner of the month. Had a year old double edmundo on Friday that was stellar right up to the last third when that youthful dirtiness showed up. Hup #2 from April 2014 was third. Brilliant cigar. 1

joeypots Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 "01 Esplendido Time was very good to this cigar. '01 vintage or not. 2
Blazer Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Sacrilege I know, but I enjoyed the NC Jericho Hill 12-Angry Men lancero, better than the CC Cohiba Lancero I had last month.
JohnS Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 2006 Cohiba Siglo V. If a current year version were available on 24:24 (and I haven't seen any for nearly 18 months), I'd anticipate they'd sell out within 2 minutes. Yes, they are that good...2 hours of bliss! 3
schubb Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 2014 RyJ Churchill for me, with the 2015 Magnum 50s coming in a close second. Splitting hairs between the two really.
Corylax18 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 PLMC ABR 14 2 years and they are really getting smooth now. If I can find boxes of the same or similar vintage I would be in for multiple. Rich Caramel and Cream. If only there was a PLDC! 1
DoubleDD Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 ECA May 03 Upmann 2.....punched me right in the gut but delivered heavy leather, earth, espresso, bitter chocolate, cinnamon, and roasted nuts.
sepp Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 MC No 4 from August 2012. Aged the last 2 years in a PLPC cab (with 49 brothers). 1
earthson Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 AME OCT 13 RASCC. Got one box in a blind purchase and had to hurry up and get more. Can't see them getting any better, but we'll find out! Almost like a mini RASS with truly distinct thirds. 1
oljud Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 RyJ Wide Churhill from OCT 15. Lovely in every way (except size ) //O 1
