ayepatz Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Currently enjoying a 1998 Boli Lonsdale I got from Floridita in Soho, London, and it's an absolute belter. A creamier, smoother little brother to the 04 Boli Corona Gigante I found in Antwerp LCDH last year. Sadly no longer in production. Glad I brought home a few. Curious to know what other great aged cigars you guys have enjoyed?
joeypots Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Used to get ERDM PCs from Cypress that had time, if not real age. Those were good!
almudawi Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 ERDM Tainos 02 box I bought from Davidoff London (was their last) is by far my favorite aged find. A distant second would be the box of Partagas Serie du Connoisseur no 1 from 2002 I purchased from portmann's.
Smallclub Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 In the same size (cervantes) and from the same year: SP Molinos, SLR lonsdales… 3
JohnS Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 A 2005 Cohiba Lancero I had was sensational...dollops of cream and incredibly smooth! 1
Blakes Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 A box of Hoyo du Roi from '99. They actually beat the box of '03 Des Dieux I had, and they were v.good!
Duxnutz Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Love me some aged ERDM. I've still got a few early 2000s Rafael Gonzalez Lonsdales, SLR Lonsdales, QDO Gran Coronas and Punch SS #1s and 2s. Such full of flavour and classy cigars! 2
avaldes Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Back around Y2K, I scored a few boxes of '93 Boli Lonsdales at Gerards. I can still taste those epic cigars! 1
JC67 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Box of 1990's Trinadad fundadores... Unbelievable smoke. havnt been able to match it since
Popular Post canadianbeaver Posted May 12, 2015 Popular Post Posted May 12, 2015 Not for smoking certainly but this week I am home in Toronto to sell my home and take care of some family business. Yesterday I visited my local b&m and to my surprise the owner brought out a box to show me. This box of turn of the 20th century, La Flor de Vallens y Ca. box of 10 was pretty fascinating. Took some photos for you guys: A close up of the the top of the box: Did some research on some ads for them Interesting! 5
ayepatz Posted July 1, 2015 Author Posted July 1, 2015 Love me some aged ERDM. I've still got a few early 2000s Rafael Gonzalez Lonsdales, SLR Lonsdales, QDO Gran Coronas and Punch SS #1s and 2s. Such full of flavour and classy cigars! Smoking a 2000 SLR Lonsdale now, and it's fabulous!
kwsaw63 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 I have a few aged smokes that I love :- 2003 Hoyo des Dieux 2002 RA Belvederes 2003 Diplomaticos #1 I was also fortunate enough a couple of years ago to pick up a 5er of 1998 Troya Universales, which were a fantastic smoke. Sadly, I no longer have any left.
DoubleDD Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 2001 Upmann No 2. Love em! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
dangolf18 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 For me CLE '01 CoLa and Punch DC and Churchill from '98/'99.
johndalton44 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Christmas time 2014, friend of my fathers mentioned he had some 'cubans' from a government trip he took in '00. Figured it would be fakes but to my pleasant surprise he had the real deal. I quickly smoked through the large majority of this bundle of '98 Cohiba Siglo IVs in about 3 weeks. Just couldn't keep my hands off; some of the best cigars I've smoked to date.
DWC Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Was generously gifted a Dip No.1 from '01. It had to be one of the nicest smokes I've had to date. Smooth, sweet, mellow. all around lovely! One of those times I got into the 'cigar zone'. Nothing else mattered except paying attention to the moment. It started me on a quest to find a box. -Dan
mgravito Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 What are the odds that some LCDHs have aged stock they'd be willing to sell? I'm heading up to Toronto in 2 weeks and planning on stopping at the LCDH there.
Puros Y Vino Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 1926 Peter Schuyler Perfectos (Clear Havanas) Smoke brilliantly too. Early 1960's Partagas Petit Coronas Tubulares 1988 Diplomaticos No 7 4

I'm heading up to Toronto in 2 weeks and planning on stopping at the LCDH there. Our LCDH has a few aged offerings. RG Lonsdales from 2000. Trinidad Robusto Extras from 2005 and I think CCE's from 2004. There are others as well. But do expect to pay through the nose thanks to our taxes. 1

At the MTL LCDH we have a whole section dedicated to aged stock and also as Frank said, prices are Canadian taxed meaning HIGH!
