I still have the empty box somewhere...... First Cuban box was Monte 2,paid $325.00 to the "importer".Sometime around late '98,they had the most amazing barnyardy aroma,and were a revelation to smoke.............

I had registered with CA's website and they had a promotion where a name was drawn every month for a free box. Now, I in no way expected to win plus I am in Canada, so I wouldn't have imagined that they would even try sending me a box. Well lo and behold, I come home from work one day to find a box of Don Tomas something or other in my mailbox! That was a great day and of course, to me, they were just about the best cigars that money could buy!

FireDigger Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 My first was a gifted box of Bolivar Royal Coronas. After that, I got more serious into cigars, but mostly NCs. By the time it came to my first box of CCs, I decided on the Cohiba Siglo VI. That was when it was still a relatively new cigar. It received a lot of good reviews. I also remember watching Hotel Rwanda back then where there was a scene that implied that Cohiba is the best there is; just another factor for my decision.
