Ok it is only mid Feb but I have had some cracker cigars ok.gif

From vintage to current production I have delved into a little bit of cigar debauchery as a result of recent birthday celebrations. Loved very minute of it!

I have to say that the finest cigar I have had this year to date has been the Cohiba Robusto I shared with ken in a recent vid (MUO MAY 14).

One of those cigar experiences that will stay in my mind for a long time.

From the hip CORO as discussed Cohiba Robusto Supremo (albeit I dislike the size and price...can't fault the flavour). R&J Exhibicion 4 POU JUN 13. We called it early last year as an absolu

i saw the headline to this post and even before i opened it, my mind went straight to that very cigar. same for me.

had an old D4 the other night, nearly as good but just not quite the same refinement.

i have told rob he needs something really special for a vid soon as i have a leftover birthday present to share. mind you, as i may be in the dog house for an alleged mess with my wine cellar - a large chunk of which rob very kindly houses - i am expecting cuabas.

but back to topic - i am in complete agreement. a stunner.

I've recently gotten my first box of Monti PE. Love them and have half the box gone. So much for aging.

Toss up between the cohiba robusto supremo I recently smoked and a monte dbl edmundo I had at around 2am just after New Years.

Easy choice.

Punch petit corona del punch. Unknown year. It was very enjoyable and surprisingly strong.

Easy choice since it's the only cigar I have had this year!

Hard to choose because I've smoked some bloody stellar stuff this year already but first one that springs to mind was a bit of a mystery stick, gifted to me by Monkey. A Churchill from El Laguito, Nov 2011. Smoked it at the London herf last Thursday.

RAG from 08, hands down. Wish I had bought more when I had the chance. Every puff was a different trip - strong without being overpowering, and over 2 hours of perfect draw & burn. Might have to grab a box and let them snooze soon!

This year I would also have to say a CORO out of the box I got from our Host. I could not resist so they only rested maybe a week after receiving them. But damn it was a fine smoke. I will let them rest a little longer and have another...Thanks

Partagas Lusi LOM OCT '13 I got from a brother. Almost perfect smoking experience. It was one of those magic cigar moments (albeit a looong moment)

I ordered a box shortly after that.

Have had very few smokes so far in 2015 because of the brutally cold winter but it was a 08 PL Belicosos Extra AP... the big boys won't come out till at least spring.
